Thank you to everyone, time out has given me a chance to reflect
Hi All Firstly, thank you to everyone who kindly messaged me when I said I needed time out. I have had a chance to do some reflecting. In truth, I have not been in the best of places despite me trying to convince myself that I am okay. To summarise, I have a very complex gynaecological history involving

Cancer care in this new world
I went to my Cancer Centre yesterday for a blood transfusion. It was quite an interesting experience. First of all the hospital car park was empty and free! Then inside there was a receptionist and nobody else and I reported where I needed to go. The receptionist offered to take me there in a wheelchair

How to remain positive?
how do you remain positive with the rollercoaster of emotions? We hear negative as well as positive things regarding mom and her treatment plan and progress in the ICU. Last night she was reacting and responding, today she can hardly keep her eyes open. Her ventilator settings are going up and down

Intermittent GI bleeds with Atrophic Gastrititis?
Does anyone here that has Atrophic Gastritis have occasional GI bleeds? I suffer from them and it sometimes puts me in the hospital for blood transfusions if my Hemoglobin drops too low. Here in the USA, they won't give blood unless Hgb is less then 7 and I can't seem to get mine higher than 8, even

Any advice gladly welcome
Good morning everyone. This is my first time posting on any group forum. I have had RLS since I was a teenager. (I am turning 50 this year) All my life I have managed it by getting up walking around or simply by going to bed. In the last 7 years that has all changed and it has become very difficult.

I have to go for five-weekly transfusions. (I have Myelofibrosis and am on Ruxo and Epo injections) I am extremely worried about going to the hospital. Two weeks ago none of the medical staff was wearing protective clothing, and as I am there for at least 5 hours the possibility of catching Coronavirus

Niraparib problems.
I started Niraparib February 27th after finishing 6 months of carbo/Caelyx for a recurrence. I still had 3 tumours but they’d had reduced by more than a 1/3 so I qualified for Niraparib. I only took Nirapabib for 2 weeks when my platelets dropped to 9 so had a blood transfusion immediately and it rose
