Dear ladies, I just need to share as feel very anxious and no one understands like those who are on this journey. So for three years I was told I had IBS and fatty liver. Was under a Gastroenterologist at a local hospital out of my NHS Trust area. Saw the Gastro man every 6 months and in Jan 202 I actually

low lying placenta - 32 weeks
Hi, hoping to hear from others who have had/are having the same experience as me. I was told from 20 weeks that my placenta was low-lying, partially covering my cervix, and was at the front. I had another scan at 30 weeks which showed little movement - it is still partially covering my cervix. I am 32

Saline Solution Drip
I know it is unlikely. Can I get a saline solution transfusion in the UK with out a prescription? I can get one in some states in the USA. In Ecuador you can have a RPN come to your house and administer a saline solution once a month for $20.00 Note: As far as I know this may be the end of my rash

My son was diagnosed with Biliria Artresia at first month after birth. He underwent Kasai procedure at 2nd month. After that his stools are normal and bilirubin is under control. But recently he passed black stools and sometimes blood in the stool. His bilirubin is 0.4 and SGPT is 108 and SGOT is 84.

Post SCT haematomachrosis
My now 6 monthly bloods done last year revealed high ferritin. I subsequently had 6 venesections, 1 a month. My follow up, delayed by COVID, revealed a still high ferritin at 2000, down from around 3000. The consultant was a bit surprised it was still that high. I was a bit disappointed and concerned

Loosing the will to live
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease in 1996. Luckily my GP screened for the antibodies as my T4 was borderline; purely because his daughter had been diagnosed with it. At the time I was passing out all the time, I had developed psoriasis, I had brain fog, depression and a host of other symptoms

missed diagnosis
hi all. I was diagnosed with Hep C in 2020 after being referred to specialist due to results of some routine blood tests. It’s most likely that it was a result of a blood transfusion in 1986. Following treatment I am now clear of the virus but sadly have developed cirrhosis. I have a life policy that
