I’ve actually never heard of such a procedure, and can’t imagine why it would be implemented. I think that you would need to go to a private doctor - All Nuffield Hospitals have private GPs
I was not clear that in Ecuador you can have not more than one a month.
Thank you for your input. I came across having a saline solution infusion in the late 70's. I had two friends who were anesthesiologists and they and I would have them when our bodies were taxed. They told me it was common in the medical field. I have since then run into to more than a few that sometimes have a saline solution infusion including some emergency personal.
I find it beneficial when my body has been taxed even though I drank enough water.
I am intrigued as to why you would wish for such a procedure, especially on a regular basis. Oral rehydration is simple and safe. Intravenous rehydration with saline is more complicated and not without some degree of risk. If you have an IV saline drip, this simply goes into your blood, through your kidneys, and the water is extracted and sent 'on its way' via your bladder.
Well that post had an unanticipated positive effect for me. In three months I will be making 6+-connections to get back to the USA. Including getting a ride from the airport.
I fly into Boston and on the way home I will get a Saline IV drip as I can get one on the way and to go get one is an hours drive from my house. Never thought of that before I posted here. I have traveled and then wanted a saline IV drip about a week after I arrive or get back. I am going to preempt
Too funny. This link for saline solution drips in London came up when I was looking for something else. ivboost.uk/contact/# .
I thought more about my having a saline drip and it very well could be it has had a positive effect in the past as I was B12 deficient at the time. Thank you all for your help!
