Best MO / Cancer Centres in Australia?
G'day. I'm currently receiving treatment for metastatic PC in Brisbane, which I think is probably the best SOC treatment available, but as many people on this site have suggested, it's a good idea to get a second / third opinion. I've read so many posts that recommend good MOs and Cancer Centres in

Medication
I am trying to get off as many medications as I can. So far I've gotten off 2 High blood pressure meds and the metformin I took 2 times a day. I'm looking to get off levothyroxine and go with diet and exercise. Has anyone done anything similar?

Lupus & new diagnosis of Diabetes: uncontrolled blood glucose came on suddenly. Anyone else diabetic?
Hi folks, after years of blood tests where my blood glucose level was in the low 5s, I seem to have suddenly (over a few weeks) started with full blown diabetes. My blood glucose was in the mid 20s & I was drinking litres of water as well as dashing to the loo several times a night etc. before it occurred

VOGLIBOSE
I want to know how far Voglibose is effective in tackling type-2 diabetes, whether is it one answer to all Galvus, metformin, glimepiride and insulin, as it blocks entry of glucose into the cell?

Left Ventricular Hypertrophy (LVH) New Treatment
Thought this might be of interest to anyone else on here who, like me, has LVH. I'm told this has probably been a contributory factor to me getting AF. Article in yesterday's Scotsman entitled 'Cheap Diabetes drug can help heart'. Metformin is the drug and a trial by researchers at Dundee University
