Pain on my left side pcos

Hello

I have pcos- all scans show the left ovary is fine- it’s the right one with the issues

I started metformin two months ago and I don’t want to speak to soon but I’m tentatively thinking it has regulated my cycle

I came off my period two days ago which was really normal just a tadge lighter ( tmi sorry- still clots but no where near as bad as normal and it lasted a week instead of the usual 2/3 weeks of spotting and then really heavy)

Yesterday and today I started getting pains like where I think my left ovary is -not terrible but like I’m aware of them but of an ache mainly afternoon into evenings worse if I like breathe all the way out. I also just got a sharp pain in my boob- these are things I usually get right before my period is due not after ?

Does anyone have any clue what’s going on I guess my most reasonable worry ( because I worry about everything ) is that my left ovary is also Becoming plolycystic.

I also have no idea now when to do ovulation tests. I know the answer really is to go back to the gp but I’m fed up of always going because of something related to this so thought I would ask you wonderful people instead

Hi Hands2015,

I'm sorry I haven't been ever been on Metformin but I have PCOS. I found that temp charting really helped and was better than peeing on the ovulation sticks for me.
