Hi I am a 30 year old female and have had problems with feeling tired, aching in hips, headaches, low blood sugar. I had my cortisol tested last week and it's 156. Could this be Addisons? Thankyou

Tirosint alternative to Levo T4
Has anyone suffering from hair loss due to levothyroxine tried Tirosint. If so has the hair loss stopped and I'd this drug available in the nhs?

Zombie!
Hi there, I'm Steph, 41, and a scoliosis sufferer. I've tried many meds on the scale and Am currently on 200 pregab morning and night. And 30mg zomorph morning and night. I have finally found a level that combats my pain which is excellent. However, I get home of an evening and am completely useless.

Fenofibrate and kidney:Increase in serum creatinine
Fenofibrate has been used for the management of atherogenic dyslipidaemia for many years. Reports of fenofibrate-associated increases in serum creatinine (SCr) levels raised concerns regarding deleterious effects on renal function. Fenofibrate may not be a nephrotoxic drug. However, a close monitoring

This is because brewer’s yeast contains b12 analogues (inactive b12), that apparently interfere (severely) with normal, active b12 metabolism. However, on the other

Treatment via injection
Yesterday our consultant explained that our 14 year old daughter might need to move into a weekly subcutaneous injection. For the life of me I can’t remember the name of the injection. Does anyone know? Our daughter has started to show significant side effects to Eltrombopag and so we’re having to consider
