Can I change, improve?
Can I really make what has proven the very hardest, change in my life, right down to my relationship to disturbing thoughts and feelings, and to the maladaptive behaviors that have plagued my life and kept me mired in suicidal depression and anxiety? It is the very nature of depression and generalized

Experience of taking Lofepromine.
I am a parent of a teenager diagnosed with treatment resistant depression. ECT has recently made minor improvements but now Lofepromine is being suggested. I am concerned about the side effects, the possibility of an increase in suicidal thoughts and many other worries as we have had some nasty past

Tired of Negative Thoughts
I have developed a fairly good set of tools to deal with my anxiety. However, sometimes, my internal dialogue is just so negative - I can see risk and bad things in any situation, no matter how trivial - that I feel helpless against the thoughts. There are too many of them and they overwhelm my efforts

Need a group therapy or people to chat about social anxiety disorder. Thanks
Hi, I am EL and suffer from social anxiety disorder. I am introverted and fear being exposed to the public, interacting with people for more than a few minutes, or even struggle looking at people in the eyes. I tend to get my hands and armpits sweaty when I get anxious along with shortness of breath.

Progesterone pill for Endometriosis
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis via process of elimination and an MRI scan. I have always had awfully painful, heavy periods but in January, the pain became consistently excruciating, even when I wasn’t on my period. Long story short, I was put on the progesterone only pill

Virtual Reality Therapy Anyone?
I’ve asked my providers (PCP, Neuro, pain) about virtual reality therapy for ms issues. They’ve never heard of it being used or prescribed. I’ve read about it online only. The benefits for cognitive, physical and speech therapy sound solid. There are specific programs to suit your needs. Mental too,

Dreadful Anxiety
I have suffered from anxiety for decades. It has mostly been under control with medication, EMDR and therapy. I also suffer from bi-polar and PTSD. My Psychiatrist has put me on Zoloft (50mg), but it is not helping. In fact, I feel more anxious on it. Maybe it is not a high enough dose for me. I am

Value of LDH
I've been dealing with PCA 11 years and I've seen a number of doctors along the way but never have discussed or had my LDH tested. A young oncologist where I had my PSMA scan requested PSA, testosterone and LDH tests to go along with the scan. My LDH was at the low end of the "range" (but we still didn't

Here are the facts, what do I do?
So the facts of my life at this moment:Last night I literally broke into a lock box to get to my medications so I would have the choice to live or die while in a state of extreme mental distress. (Its a cheap lock box but it was way easier to bust into than I thought.) I hate myself. And that is not

Spending problems
If you read my other post you'll know I'm very much not ok, but right now in this moment I am calm. It's an empty calm, the kind that comes from mental exhaustion. I just don't have the mental energy to think, and thinking is my biggest enemy. Thinking is what gets me all worked up inside and sad and
