I’m was dx severe rls and periodic limb movement disorder last year by a Neurologist after having years of no sleep and restlessness. I tried pregabalin, gabapentin and clonazipine amongst other medications.

Dad , 83 , has periodic limb movement disorder ( PLMD ) , during the time when he is going to sleep. Once fully asleep it does not happen. he is supposed to start xtandi next week. At 40 mg to start with and then after a few days has to increase to 80 gm.

I'm taking gabapentin 900 all day for periodic limb movement disorder however I have a very painful arthritic shoulder and torn rotator cuff. The Dr has tried me on codeine but it made me very ill.

I was most recently diagnosed with two sleep disorders, one being Sleep Apnoea and the other being Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (neurological... similar to Restless Legs Syndrome). My main symptoms are fatigue, muscle weakness and brain fog.

Following on from a recent post containing Andy Berkowski's video on whether Periodic Limb Movement Disorder actually exists, i've been looking at alternative explanations for the non-refreshing sleep that is diagnosed as PLMD.
