I had a nerve root block done yesterday on l4/l5 of my spine. and all of a sudden i keep having dizzy spells shortness of breath and head aches. Is this a normal thing before ringing my gp and specialist wasting time for other patients.

Hi John-bacon I also had my nerves done last year. I personally never had them symptoms. Also if you have shortness of breath you need to see your doctor. I truly wish you well and take good care of yourself. Jan101 🤗🤗xxx

It took me a week recover from my first root nerve block, the medication that is injected has enter the body & when it does can make you feel unwell. It could be a side effect of the injection, but we aren't you & we aren't doctors. I wouldn't worry too much, however give the 101 number a call. Try to relax & keep warm.

Sorry for the late reply. All is well the symptoms above went but I now have a constant pain in my leg and arms. I Have physio booked in about 20 weeks. But until then I will keep harassing the doctor until he sorts it as I can barley walk let alone work my current job.
