Tens Machine
Has anyone had any success at reducing their tinnitus with a tens machine. I read 2 hours a day for 2 weeks with the pad placed just next to the ear is the way to do it.

How to improve your blood pressure
I have recently fallen in love. With capillaries. In his brilliant book, ‘The Secret Language of Cells’, Dr John Leif, physician and neuroscientist, dedicates a whole chapter to them, calling these tiny vessels, ‘brain centres’ of tissue development. With a yogic lens, this speaks to the body intelligence

Mother in pain
My 88 year old mother has severe osteoporosis and kyphosis. She has episodes of severe back pain under her shoulders, which I am assuming is due to vertebral fractures of the spine. She uses a heating pad, over the counter pain medicine, and Tylenol with codeine when she cannot tolerate the pain anymore

Funny turn
I woke up from my sleep last night and felt very sick. I tried to get to the bathroom but couldn't keep my balance and fell over. I managed to get up and that's the last I remember as I fell backwards into the shower where my husband found me. He said I was unresponsive so he helped me to a sitting position

Post meningitis
Hi everyone..my now 9 years old daughter had a meningitis when she was 4 n half. She struggles at school, she became a stutter and almost not willing to talk most of the time. It's killing me to see her suffer in her childhood. She doesn't want to play with other kids because of the way she speaks,

Support after Diagnosis and advice
I've had my diagnosis now of chronic pain and fibromyalgia last week over a very lengthy appointment, still in loads of pain and even morning stiffness and aches, no mention of using a walking aid if I really need it. we discussed pain relief which after the nurse decided to stay on paracetamol until

Early signs of PA
I've been giving some thought to how long I've had PA. I was diagnosed about 2 years ago. BUT, when i look back at old photos of myself, my skin colour changed to be quite yellowy (my mum says my dad and his mum both had the yellowy skin tone). This yellowy colour has faded out and I'm much more "white

Hope at last
Hi well after five years of suffering with the most intense burning, agitation, painful genitalia, lack of sleep I finally have a diagnosis of neuropathy. I was referred to a Gynaecologist and after a month received a letter saying there would be a two year wait just to be seen. We decided that I should

2023: Your Successes and Failures
My mum is 83, has PD and dementia.
Successes
1. Constipation and digestive issues very much helped with the addition of Motilitone, a prokinetic. Once a day or every other day now. No strain. Zero stress around the issue now. Previously, there was a great deal. Abdominal pains have gone. (

Viral meningitis
My 17 year old daughter was diagnosed with viral meningitis last weekend and this was confirmed on Monday. Initially she was given antiviral and antibiotics because they was unsure if it was bacterial meningitis. She had been unwell for 5 or 6 weeks. Permanent headache that painkillers didn't touch

Burned Nerves for Spinal Stenosis..
Morning everyone, I had a temporary nerve block the other day in 6 points around my spine. It seemed to work, the surgeon mentioned the next step would be to burn the nerves but this would only give 6 months - 1 year of relief. I just wondered if anybody here has had this done?

advice after surgery/ any advice on natural remedies or how to slow the regrowth of endo?
I had my surgery on Wednesday to investigate my bladder pain. Turns out my bladder is clear but I had a chocolate cyst inside my ovary, and my ovary was stuck to my pelvic wall. I had a different surgeon from before, who indicated that my surgery wasn’t performed properly last time. So I am unsure if

Do TENS machines help with endo pain?
Hi, I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 Endrometriosis and have terrible symptoms before and during my periods. I’m trying different products to manage my pain, I wondered if anyone has used TENS machines? If yes, do they actually help with pain? Many thanks in advance!
