Nerve block experience?
After two surgeries post wrist laceration due to tendon damage I have severe unrelenting pain in my dominant right palm, wrist and sometimes in upper arm for almost a year. So far medications has done very little. Diagnosis is of possible CRPS or median nerve damage in post surgical scar tissue. Trip

Still no treatment (UK)
Hi Everyone In my last post I thought my partner was about to start treatment, but after a 10 minute consultation at Kings he was told he seems to be managing without ( despite meeting the criteria for treatment) and the next appointment was put out 5 months. Since then his blood results have arrived

Return of endometriosis
I’ve had a laparoscopy&cervical biopsy, they diagnosed endometriosis and done surgical removal of it 4 month ago, saying it was very close to my bowel and a complex case. I noticed my stomach not feeling right about 2 month afterwards, been back to the doctors and she put me on a new contraceptive pill

The journey to recovery (viral meningitis)
Hello and this is my story....I’m about 2 months post viral meningitis and this has been a slow journey to recovery. I had the same experience as most of you, several trips the the ER and my primary care provider and no relief or diagnosis. The only symptom I had that really stood out was the headache

Vagus Nerve Stimulation
Hi, I have had single sided tinnitus now for about 9 months. I have had the MRI stuff and with no abnormalities have been left to just get on with the kettle boiling sound in one ear. I have done the normal rounds of cranial sacral, meditation, yoga all, I am afraid, to no effect. Then I found this:

Using a Tens Machine
This is for information purposes only and hopefully help some people on this site. It has come to my attention that a few people have tried Tens machines but have not been given the correct advice regarding pad placement and settings. I have attached a picture that should help. For our kind of pain

Nerve Block for Testicle Pain
Has anyone had the nerve block injection for testicle pain? I have pain in right testicle and right leg, I've had this pain for 10 years. Ultrasound scan shows small cysts and small varicocele, the urology specialist says these are too small to be causing the pain, so they don't want to operate. I

Does anyone know of a good doctor here in the United States that is familiar with meningitis?
I live in the United States of America and so far the doctors i have been to are baffled and their idea of testing for meningitis is by touching your chin to your chest and asking if it hurts if it doesn't hurt than they automatically rule out the possibility of meningitis without actually doing a screening

Best laser for prostate surgery while on Eliquis?
Has anybody had any experience with a laser Turp while on Eliquis? I had a prostate resection 10 years ago, ( no PAF then) and it was a quite bloody affair, with 4 days of catheterized bladder washing. I filled tens of colored water bags with the draining of my blood loss. Now I have to do a Turp

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
Has anyone here tried TMS and if so for what type of symptomatology? What were your results? I tried searching the archives and only came across a few scattered posts and nothing from anyone who has actually tried it for PD. My main goal for my mom is to reduced her resting tremor and improve her mood

AFIB and Migraine
Hello, I saw a report a month or so ago linking AFIB ago people who have suffered with severe migraine. I was wondering if many of you suffered with severe migraine and went on to have AFIB? I suffered really badly all my adult life and had various treatments including triptans and an occipital nerve
