Nerve Block for Testicle Pain

Has anyone had the nerve block injection for testicle pain?

I have pain in right testicle and right leg, I've had this pain for 10 years.

Ultrasound scan shows small cysts and small varicocele, the urology specialist says these are too small to be causing the pain, so they don't want to operate.

I was offered a nerve block injection instead???
