Using a Tens Machine

This is for information purposes only and hopefully help some people on this site.

It has come to my attention that a few people have tried Tens machines but have not been given the correct advice regarding pad placement and settings. I have attached a picture that should help. For our kind of pain it is important that the pads are placed on opposite sides of the body ie tummy and back. So the current can flow. And the settings should be turned up to almost unbearable then turned down a couple of digits. I was initially given the wrong advise and thought the machines were rubbish. Used correctly you can get a lot of medication free relief. Hope this helps anyone who may be interested in using them or trying them again. I swear by mine. All the best. Claire xx
