TENS machine
I was gifted a TENS machine for Christmas. I only suffer occasionally from mild aches and pains but this is supposed to act like a massager as well as giving pain relief, (it has different settings). Does anyone have any experience using a TENs machine and how good they are? Appreciate there are probably

What’s it really like? Birth Story…
After posting questions on here when I was pregnant, such as what is it like to give birth, what are the signs before you started labour, if anyone had experience of birth following LLETZ and reading others questions. I just wanted to post something after I’d given birth. My DD is now 18 weeks old.

Increased pain after pudendal nerve block.
As a last resort I had a pudendal nerve block in my left buttock 17 days ago. The pain in the injection site is almost unbearable. I hoped this would turn my life around but it has just done the opposite. I am desperate for some pain relief tried all the neuropathic pain tablets but they didn’t

Pelvic pain
Hi this is my second round of cancer had APR in 2018, removal of my rectum and permanent colostomy. In 2020 had secondary cancer which decided to wrap its self around the nerves in front of my sacrum, so was given chemo and radio therapy, this did the trick and tumour disappeared and I'm on 3 monthly

Meningitis
I’m scared I have meningitis, I’ve had a bad headache on and off for 2 days, and a tiny fever I think I feel hot anyway and a rash on my neck, I’ve tried the glass test and I’m unsure on whether it goes or not it looks paler than what it was but still red I’m just scared :(

Managing flare up advice needed, struggling to cope!
Just wondering how people cope when their pain flares up? Do people have some kind of management plan to deal with them? I’m yet to be formally diagnosed and am awaiting Diagnostic Laparoscopy. I’m getting increasing frequency of pain flares in my pelvis, hips, low back and upper legs, they’re excruciating

Tapering while suffering with shingles?
Was recently hospitalized for asthma in October and put on mega doses of steroids. When I came down to 12 1/2 I parked. I started to reduce a half a milligram and now at 12. Just came down with the most wicked form of shingles. I went to the hospital in an ambulance! It was so painful I couldn’t even

I had a nerve block for the surgery and wonder if the swelling & numbness is a result of it. My Dr. did not prescribe physical therapy. He just said work back into

Cluneal nerves
I am wondering whether my sitting pain is caused by cluneal nerve irritation or entrapment. I had pudendal nerve blocks but they actually increased the pain. Does anyone have any information on that? I'd be grateful.

Tens 10 machine for neuropathy
Just wondering if a tens machine has helped anyone for neuropathy as a alternative treatment. It seems to help me, but it would be good to get some feed back from people who use it as a treatment for there issues.

Shingles twice followed by viral meningitis
Hi I had shingles twice which my GP treated really quickly so feel I got off lightly. I then got VM. I have suffered with neuropathic pain ever since along with some really odd sensations too. The symptoms have improved but not gone altogether, it has taken over 6 years. I have now been diagnosed with
