(I'm not sure if its possible not to feel tired when pregnant and
parenting
after a toddler full time) However this last result has freaked me out and I am feeling a anxious again.

Parenting Classes for Parents of ADHD Kids
I am looking for classes for parents of kids with ADHD to take, that are either in person (or zoom/video call during the pandemic), with some kind of certificate at the end. Basically, something a little more substantive than just a self-directed online course. Any suggestions?

decisions and it's not my designated day of custody. I am so worried for her, she's only 8. He does IT and has to leave his office frequently. He says someone will watch her if he has to leave. I am freaking out, what can I do????? Beantrees

How do you cope with family members that don’t understand your child and judge your
parenting
skills instead? I don’t know what to write I’m tired of being in public at family events and other people tell him off or shake their head at his behaviour. Am I supposed to scream “HE HAS ADHD”?

Parenting: part 3
I don’t know at this point but in my previous posts I talked about my parents being toxic and how even though I’m 18 I’m still dependent on them and that it was taking a toll on me. Today, while on a video call with a friend my mom walked in and freaked out. I shut the call off immediately to avoid her

Parenting: part 2
Unfortunately it doesn’t end there. Today I was on a call with my best friend, he is male and currently staying in his country of birth. I really want to go see him for a couple days, the country he lives in has very few cases) but I absolutely know that it is impossible with my parents. They control

Parenting: part 1
A couple days ago was my 18th birthday. Unfortunately due to the virus and a lot of other reasons I’ve been stuck in my house with my parents unable to do much about the situation. I am currently in a country other than the one I live in, due to being dragged into a car for 13 hours to see my grandmother

W2R2 - ARE YOU KIDDING ME
It had car journeys,
parenting
fails, social awkwardness, races against time, it had EVERYTHING. And then my stupid phone lost it and I have to start over. It’s 2am, I’m not doing it. I did the damn run, it was late, it was dark, it was fine. I just ate profiteroles and now I’m having a beer.

Solo parenting options?
.Hi all, I’m new here and hoping to get some advice or speak to others going through a similar thing to me 😊 I’m at a point in my life where I feel i'm at an ultimatum about having children. I’m unsure whether I want to have them or not, and feeling overwhelmed with this indecision and what to do

I am here if anyone wants to ask any questions about living with JIA and
parenting
a child with JIA. I've been told I have a very unique perspective as I and my daughter both have it. Hope everyone is well 🙏🏼

Parents & Parenting
Aside of 2017-present, the last time I was consistently around my Dad was 2010 before I moved to go to college. Of course I grew a lot mentally/emotionally. Our relationship was on the greater side, but due to unforeseen circumstances I could not receive financial aid so I was ass out, working 3 jobs

Finally I have a date for FUS!
I went to be assessed last November but was turned down as I’m a single parent and Dr Jeanmonod said I need a break from
parenting
to recover. I emailed him a month or two ago and asked him to reconsider and he said yes! So I have a week in Switzerland in mid October for the treatment.

What's the most effective way to step-parent a toddler with ADHD?
His mother is inattentive, uncooperative, and unconcerned when it comes to co-
parenting
a child with ADHD. At our house however, we provide a relatively regular routine and a structured environment conducive to his special needs.

Most embarrassing parenting moment!
As we continue in lockdown I thought that it would be funny for everyone to discuss their most embarrassing
parenting
moment and give us all a much needed laugh to lift our spirits!

ADHD Parenting Skills class recommendations?
I'm looking for an online
parenting
skills class that is specific to ADHD. The two I've found so far are "Sanity School" from Impact ADHD and "Stop Battling with your Child" from Penny Williams (
Parenting
ADHD & Autism). Has anyone taken these and have any feedback/reviews on them?

Need to let off steam 😤
I am forever grateful but
parenting
can be a bit difficult at times. I find it is quite hard at the moment being stuck indoors and not having a garden doesn’t help but I wouldn’t ever change it for the world. Sorry for the rant xx

A late run for me after a difficult solo
parenting
day. Once bath and bed routine was finished and hubby finally got in, I wasn’t really in the mood. But I guess these are the days when it does you the most good. I am finding putting running clothes on earlier in the day sets me up to get it done.
