Are You Missing These Steps to Health?
For at least the last 100 years or so many "experts" have had an incomplete understanding of what it takes to greatly improve insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. Their advice? Reduce carbs as much as you can stand. It's just common sense, right? If you have too much glucose in your blood, stop eating

A day I was so happy to see
She is working in
palliative

at the moment at St Peters Chertsey so in at the deep end. She is hoping to do the London Marathon next year for either Ovacome or Target Ovarian Cancer.

Medicinal cannabis
I’ve always known they are
palliative
care
drugs. They worked for me. Now I’m stressed about how I’ll cope when my last two are gone. Has anyone else had medicinal cannabis prescribed? If so did it work?

Advice on medical care
They have done this despite the fact she is on
palliative
care
and in the latter stages of PSP with all and I mean all the horrible things that go with it, which they say are outside their remit and do not require actual medical attention.

My J
We have been told he is in end stages and that he has been fast tracked for CHC funding for a
palliative
package of
care
to get him back home. They think it might take yet another week to get this all in place. The house (flat) is empty without him and I just feel griefed and empty and alone.

LCHF Diet-- Are we eating the Healthy fats??
As a part of LCHF diet , we aim at eating 60-70% of our daily calories from Fat. Saturated fats is supposed to be the most preferred form of fats which most LCHF practitioners follow by eating cheese , egg, full fat Dairy fats, coconut etc . But LCHF practitioners also resort to consuming a lot of extra

My journey to recovery
Things were looking up because the GP that dealt with this letter was someone I knew I could trust – he spends 1 day a week in
palliative
care
at the local hospice and had treated me in the past for chronic pain with morphine, after all else failed, so he knew I don’t swing the lead when I only need

Vegans save the planet (possibly)
Jerry raised an important point the other day concerning human health and the health of the planet. While it’s fashionable these days to tout meat-free diets as a cure for global warming (I think Angela Merkel was the latest to make a statement along those lines) it’s not really that simple. Some facts

LCHF could be a boon for Diabetes if practised scientifically, but beginners may face a challenge if he is a vegetarian !
As a T2, You feel great with LCHF diet - thanks to this forum, you keep getting tips from the veterans to overcome the initial hurdles. It is a science - now getting recognised all over as a solution for obesity and diabetes. Once you undetstand the science and practice LCHF, you don't feel like

Raynaud’s Disease and Keto Diet update
I’ve been experimenting with deliberately challenging myself with low temperatures . This morning I walked 10 minutes to the local shop for some eggs, wearing short sleeves and no hat (and no hair!) in 11C. The walk back was COLD as I got soaked by steady rain with a temperature of probably 5C or less

This in turn, leads to the issue of
palliative

. It is seemingly impossible to get sustained pain relief in America today.
