My mother in law has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, having a drain put in today to stay in for seeable future, tumour is 16.7 cm x 12.8, because of her age 84 and how frail she is they are just doing palliative care.
A ct scan was done in 2016 and a cyst was seen on ovaries but wasn’t followed up by hospital.
They are going to test fluid drained today to see what stage she is at, I’m guessing with tumour and weight loss since Xmas it’s advanced.
