How did humans get to the top of the pile?
Thank you everyone who commented on my post around why people chose a low-carb high fat diet, and did they do so after a high-carb low-fat diet. Personally I could debate on just that thread for the next 10 years, and perhaps I will! However it occurs to me a hypothesis following on from that question

I just got home after a couple of weeks in hospital and I managed to lose 2lb. I am new to LCHF diet but I am doing okay. The only thing I miss is ciabatta bread :(

Iām under
palliative
care
now. Nurses come every day to do my syringe driver and they drained ascites yesterday. I just want to eat so I can get strong for chemo. I hope they can do the stent and the chemo. Iāve got to hope. Does all that make sense?

Cholesterol level
Hi Guys I was just reading a post by Daisychain12 and how cream in coffee stops any sugar cravings during the day. I wanted to add that this was my default after my morning (black) tea and stops food cravings. In that post I read a reply from, TheAwfulToad, who asked for cholesterol levels. I've just

Really useful info from endo specialist *worth reading *
Hi ladies I have been doing lots of research recently and found this post by Dr Jeff Arrington, an endo specialist in America. I found it really helpful, so I thought I would share as I'm sure like me, there are many women here trying to figure out what to do... THE STANDARD OF CARE IS NOT SUFFICIENT

LCHF Vs Long/Emmer Wheat
Hi All, I would like to get some practical suggestions from you all. I was on partial LCHF(even though my friends like namaha proposed a full time one) diet. To start with LCHF diet, I was avoiding major carbs only during dinner. My dinner was usually boiled peanuts ( 1 cup) or coconut meat (half

We as caregivers are at increased risk for mental health and physical health problems
Previous findings are unlikely to be representative of the population of carers providing end-of-life
care
, as studies have either recruited carers through specialist or
palliative
care
settings where carers may be better supported or have failed to fully capture care during the final months of life.

Also met with a
palliative
care
doctor at the practice. No one really gave me any time estimates, but it was implied that I should get my affairs in order and enjoy my time. Soon I got to enjoy a biopsy. Gleason 10 in all 12 cores. Bone scan was lit up everywhere.

To give those āresistantā ladies a bit of my good news..
Well... from having been sitting a few months back in my house chatting to the
palliative
care
lady ( she was lovely but it really did feel like an end of the line chat..) I am suddenly doing cart wheels ( well metaphorically!!šš) as the Taxol has suddenly kicked in and is working!

Trouble adjusting.
I considered skipping the dialysis route and just receive
palliative
care
. My parents are the best so they were a major factor in me dialyzing. I was also scared I might end up in hell. I would like to know when do things get better? I find it hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
