What are the intersections of
palliative
comfort and transition to hospice
care
? We can each only tolerate these conversations in small bites, but we continue to have them together, and with providers.

Obese T2 DM Vs Thin T2 DM
Are you Obese T2 or Thin and skinny T2?? I have been studying the Etiology & mechanism of Obese T2 Vs Thin/Skinny T2 since quite some time. I have accessed a lot of research papers/ studies on the subject. I find there is a lot of difference between the two and therefore the strategies to be followed

Hello
I regularly see my Oncologist, PCP, Psychiatrist, Therapist, Breast Cancer Social Worker and
Palliative
Care
team. I attend a twice monthly Metastatic Cancer Support Group at my hospital and follow many FB groups. I love to support and get support from others going through this horrible disease.

Feeling horrible!!!!!!!!
He is now on
palliative

.....He is fortunate enough to have long term care insurance....After much deliberation I’ve realized that due to his size and lack of mobility that this is not realistic at home... Why on earth do I feel like a failure??? Warm hugs to you all.... Betty

Taxol and fatigue
My
palliative
care
NP is thinking to change my pain meds over to methadone from opioids. She said methadone does not cause fatigue. In any event, I am told that the fatigue is cumulative on Taxol. I have had 6 infusions thus far.

Infusion
All recommended by his
palliative
care
doctor except for the liquid oxygen. I had a little birdie for that one. He also sticks to his CBD product twice a day (also helps with seizures) We had infusion day yesterday! Which is exciting for me as a caregiver.

Talking to professionals - not.
This is completely at odds with the registrar’s retort, “
palliative
care
only”. I realise that it’s normal to want to shoot the messenger and the feeling usually passes. But several days later I’m still fuming. This could have been handled so much better.
