Very confused !
I have recently restarted the lchf diet and have been doing a lot of research during the course of which I came across a site called Healthline . In the article I was reading they were discussing why some people don’t lose weight using low - carb diets . Two of the reasons were ‘ eating too many calories

Our Saga so far...and an observation about quality of care
I know there are still a few options after docetaxel, but given what we've gone thru the past four years I feel like we're going to have to fight like hell to get anything past this point other than the offer of
palliative
care
. My husband is a fighter but right now he's worn out, and so am I.

Shame and Pain: Lung Cancer’s Stigma Exerts Psychic and Physical Toll.
That stigma, Johnson found in her research, not only robs them of quality of life, it makes them less likely to seek relief in
palliative
and end-of-life
care
, a tide of suffering Johnson hopes to turn. https://news.virginia.edu/content/shame-and-pain-lung-cancers-stigma-exerts-psychic-and-physical-toll

Mum ❤️
Three weeks ago I got the call that there was nothing more they could do for my mum and she was to be moved to our small local hospital for
palliative
care
. I was finally able to be with her there. I was there all the time with her. Trying to spend as much time with her as possible.

My oncologist and my
palliative
care
doctor are some of the best people in my life. Oncology denied my death an innumerable amount of times, and did so again. The doctor found a surgeon, and interviewed him (doesn’t that sound funny?) but he accepted and she accepted.

Back pain has put me back on hospital again.
Doctors are looking into it and
palliative
care
team coming to see me tomorrow. They are on about upping my meds one of which is a fentanyl patch. That would take its dose up to 50mg which makes morphine look like a sweet in strength. All this and I havey second chemo on Tuesday, happy days.

Update on Decision to Stop Chemo
So I have adjusted my pain management plan with my
palliative
care
doctor. I am very thankful I did. She was very attentive to my wishes- As pain free as possible while still not being so drugged, I could not participate in life. And I have a nutrition guide.

My Blood report based on whole plant based food
I am pleased to post my blood report dated 2nd Dec, 2020. I was following a whole plant food since last 2- months based upon principles of Cyrus khambatta's book "Mastering diabetes". I could attach only one screen shot image of the lipid profile.... as this is the first time ín my life I have seen

End stage liver disease and Ascites
I don’t feel the doctors are telling he everything, I have read the leaflets that the British liver trust sent me and looks to me that my dad is having
palliative
care
but that’s not something that’s been clearly discussed with me... it’s getting more difficult, he is needing more care...

"High-Fat" or "Healthy-Fat"
It's often said on HU that this approach should be called "Healthy-Fat". Though the fats we eat should be healthy, I think "Low-Carb High-Fat" is the right name. A name doesn't need to explain every tiny aspect of the plan, just enough to show what it is. Once you cut the carbs, you either go low calorie
