Bad pain day - tips
Hello all!I'm hoping for some wisdom from the NRAS hive mind on what to do for very bad pain days. I had a stomach bug over Christmas, missed a dose of methotrexate, and now I have a killer RA flare. I've been resting, gentle movement, painkillers, hot baths etc and am hoping it will resolve. If it lasts

IUD removal with general anaesthetic
Hi! I have been living with suspected endometriosis since I was 14. Flooding, heavy periods and intense stomach and back pain have plagued my life. In 2020 I was finally sent to see a gynaecologist after a decade of medical gaslighting. I ended up leaving with an IUD I never wanted or requested. The

They seem expensive and are just pain relieving patches that stick to your body, legs etc..but do they help?I may look on Amazon

Happy hungry Christmas
I hope everyone has a lovely day. Unfortunately we had a power cut last night at 1am and another today at 12.45 just when most people had put their turkeys in. It came back 5 minutes ago. They obviously just reset a fuse during the night which didn't fix it. So no heating, lights, phones, TV or even

Newly diagnosed
I still feel unsure as the information I have been given is quite sketchy. My initial fibroscan in July 2022 seemed to be quite disconcerting as had a liver stiffness of 41.9Kpa with CAP 400, which apparently is the most they could record, so was a little concerned. But nothing was really discussed

A critical review of Provenge. Your inputs welcomed?
Any thoughts on this critical review. One thing that strikes me as odd, is how there is no information regarding efficacy since 2012. That's 10 years. If something works well, then why isn't there new data showing that? Some people say, it can't hurt, so just do it. That makes sense if it is true
