Pacemaker and Solar Farms?
I had a
pacemaker
inserted in 2016 for complete heart block then in 2023 I was diagnosed with heart failure with an ejection fraction of 25%, I then had my
pacemaker
upgraded to a
pacemaker
crt device in May 2023.

Something new…..
At my annual
pacemaker
check recently there was no trace of AF and the
pacemaker
itself was functioning at less that 1% of the time which is the lowest ever. However there were a number of episodes of “a more structured arrhythmia” on six days spread between February, March and April.

Waiting times........
A Clinical Physiology visit yielded the new that my
Pacemaker
check showed that the battery level dictated a replacement. Aware of the national discussions about waiting times I naturally asked the obvious question and was reassured with "2-3 weeks". !!

Mitigate skin burn after CV?
As a side note, I’m getting off the CV merry-go-round soon with a
pacemaker
and AV node ablation. Meantime, while I wait in queue, a CV is the only thing that keeps me in NSR from two weeks to two months. But what to do to minimize the burn effects on my skin?

Yikes - wellue ecg (24/72) with ICD (defibrillator)?
But… I appreciate they give the standard “readings might not be fully accurate with
pacemaker
” - however - now I’ve got it and read the first pages there is a bullet point that says “do not use with defibrillator”. Is for the same reason ie unreliable readings?

High vagal tone.
I had an ILR fitted 16 months ago to try and find out the reason for the bradycardia etc and was told I might need a
pacemaker
but it's still ongoing.

Would a
pacemaker
or ICD be a better option? We both just feel so hopeless and powerless waiting for the NHS. Just looking for some support or hope.

Third time lucky?
I graduated for the 2nd time in August 2023 but for various health reasons (including a
Pacemaker
fitted in December of that year) I've lapsed. I walk a lot, 2 active dogs see to that, and usually achieve 1 or 2 active 10s a day.

pulse of 62 and feeling shaky
I’ve had a
pacemaker
since 2020, the last couple of weeks I’ve had a cold , apart from that I’ve been ok . I’ve noticed that my pulse has dropped to around 60/62 and ive felt fluttery and shaky . My
pacemaker
is set to bring my heart rate up should it drop below 60.

Orgovyx and its side effects on the heart's electrical system
I will need a
pacemaker
. I know a side effect of Orgovyx is Long QT Syndrome, which, like bradycardia, affects the heart's electrical system. I wonder if bradycardia needs to be added to the list of Orgovyx's serious side effects. --Boon

pacemaker
and I thought all was well since I’ve had no AF since I had it fitted back in June 2023. I had my
pacemaker
check yesterday at the pacing clinic and all was well except I am now having Ectopics but that’s no big deal , then late last nigh I didn’t feel quite right.

Atrial Fibrillation
Anyway, I had Cardioversion which put me back into NSR but caused Bradycardia, and as a result, I had to have a
pacemaker
inserted. The A-Flutter came back after 9 months and I had cardiac ablation which resulted in NSR for 7 months.

fainting/ syncope and heart condition
I’ve now been told my top options are ablation surgery or
pacemaker
. I’m only 26 and it’s really scary for me and I’m suffering with constant panic attacks and worry it’ll happen again before I get treatment. I just want to know if anyone has been through the same and can give me any advice
