Hi I was discharged from hospital 2 weeks ago after my heart stopped and they fitted me with a pacemaker. I have just had bloods done at my Drs and they called me to say the Dr needed to speak to me about them and he would call next week. I told them I have an appointment tomorrow and they advised he would speak then but I am very worried and unsure if it's the medication I'm on or something else. Can someone please ease my worries or advise me. I realise I am seeing the GP tomorrow but I am really nervous. Thank you.

Sorry to hear about your current issues, sadly no one here is medically qualified to offer comment on your bloods - you've obviously got other health issues and meds in your system so your GP is going to be the best person in the first instance to give you his/her take on what is potentially going on and what is causing the bloods to be a little 'out of whack'. They'll have details on their systems that we are not aware of so it really is best to leave the interpretation of these results to your doctor.
Best wishes for you appointment tomorrow, hope you get the ansers you need.

BTW - my Dad had a pacemaker fitted in 2020 after suffering a heart block during open heart surgery and valve replacement and aorta repair. He's as fit as a fiddle now and walking loads and even doing loads of miles on his wee e-bike. It's amazing what these things do. 😀
