recent pacemaker implant

Hi I had a 2 lead pacemaker put in on the 28th November in Bristol heart institute has anyone had a feeling of slight twitching it started today,

had 2 abaltions before this last Yr

the plan is a node abaltion in 6 weeks but I'm worried really ro have this

Hi I had a pacemaker on 27th October I definitely have all sorts of twitches I spoke to the clinic and said it was down the left side about the same time. They indicated it was the pacemaker resetting! I have other twitches near my tummy too. Ask pacemaker clinic may help you. Good luck

Hi, had PM fitted 12/21. Not had twitches. Re ablation, 2 wks after PM implant (Jan 22) I developed tachycardia, they said this was caused by PM being wrongly set, so had ablation 5 march 22 to fix it, that worked.

"PM being wrongly set" ... that's disturbing news to an AF novice like me. Do you mean you got assigned the "B" team who basically didn't know what they were doing? Frighteningly worrying! Glad to hear though that you now feel "fixed".

Presumably it was set by the consultant who put it in and issue was picked up by checks when I got tachycardia.

Good morning Theresa, in 2021 had both pacemaker and AV node ablated, so far all good apart from small issues which were sorted. Back to normal activities, golf, so can't be bad

Had pacemaker and AV node ablation late last year. Am told I’m now in AF 100% of the time so had one lead switched off. All good so far!!
