Drs not feeling comfortable reading ECGs if have pacemaker inserted.
Have other people found that if they have a
pacemaker
in, and get heart attack symptoms that the paramedics or doctors at the hospital don't order an ECG? Or the nurses won't do an ECG?

Acheing shoulder
I have a
pacemaker
fitted. I go brisk walking three days a week on a 3 mile route. I have a rather bad ache on my left shoulder next to the
pacemaker
site. Strangley when I bend over to remove my walking boots the pain goes away! I now wear a sponge on my shoulder to ease this pain.

Am I OK to take decongestant powders or tablets?
I have AF, have a
pacemaker
and take daily Bisoprolol and Flecainide tablets. I also suffer a lot from sinus congestion. I tried to buy some Lemsip at my local pharmacy but they said I shouldn't use these if I have AF. Is this correct? If so, what can I use instead?

Permanent AF and A flutter but rate control reasonable but permanent erratic rhythm AF is this something you can live ?
I have a
pacemaker
to control bradycardia and sinus pauses which is great, but the rhythm is so erratic and permanent, my consultants were going to have a discussion with me about having AV node ablation.

Pacemaker to stop AF?
Did anyone here have a special
pacemaker
implanted to stop AF episodes quickly and did it work? I do NOT mean the normal
pacemaker
implanted after AV node ablation. Would be grateful for information.

Pacemaker implanted.
After 2 years of considering it, I finally had my
pacemaker
implanted yesterday. Have to stay a couple of days at the hospital as the medicines and machine learn to work together. Looking forward to a new and peaceful rhythm now!

Tens machine
Good Morning, Could i ask if using a tens is considered safe if you have Afib.I know that it is not recommended if you have any implants like
pacemaker
etc, but if not, is it O.K. for relieving muscle pain?
