Good Morning,
Could i ask if using a tens is considered safe if you have Afib.I know that it is not recommended if you have any implants like pacemaker etc, but if not, is it O.K. for relieving muscle pain?

I don't know if ....'its considered safe from a cardiac' point of view but I used this device on my arthritic knee before I eventually had a knee replacement. I have not used it on my arthritic shoulders.
Thank you.I'm being a bit cautious at the moment until I gather enough info!
Another person here has used the tens machine, the one that clips to the ear for Afib. I havent heard back as yet to how its going.

Thank for that.I would really only use it for neck and other muscle pain rather than specifically for Afib.
I use mine quite a lot for muscle pain, for sciatica, shoulder pain etc.(I am a golfer) and it has not caused my A fib to act up.
I have had tens treatment several times at my Chiropractors office for back pain and have never had an issue. My chiropractor says it is safe for those with AF, just not for some types of pacemakers.
