Hello Catavelluni welcome.
Does you AF cause you any problems now it is permanent ,
Breathless when walking on an incline and climbing stairs is difficult with pains in my legs. Largely due to the bisoprolol plus poor sleep pattern, bad dreams , and regular trips to the loo.
Bisoprolol can cause bad dreams. You could ask your doctor about a change of beta blocker to see if it helped. Many people find Nebivolol is much better. It may improve your breathlessness too.
Taking magnesium (with your doctor's agreement, and not magnesium oxide and not enough to cause diarrhea) for several months may help with the frequent loo visits, and in other ways too.
A 40 setting seems very low.
