Reoccurrence of Rectovaginal endo
I’ve had an MRI recently which shows my Rectovaginal endo has reoccurred after hysterectomy and bilateral
ovary
removal
. My gynaecologist think the risks of further surgery may outweigh the benefits. She has treated me for years in a BSGE specialist centre and I trust her implicitly.

Tibolone after Hysterectomy
Hey, I’m nearly 8 weeks post op after having a full hysterectomy due to severe endometriosis. I’m in surgical menopause and been prescribed Tibolone and started suffering with severe headaches. Do these subside after a while? The headaches make me feel really sick too and I can’t talk.

Surgery cancelled
Has anyone else had their surgery’s cancelled? Mine for a Laparoscopy and polyp removal booked for May was cancelled yesterday. I understand but had a little cry. I was lucky enough to get this booked so soon anyway. I had a initial consultation booked for April but got a cancellation in March so was

Gallbladder removal & NSAID use
Will having your gallbladder removed help with PBC? And can we take ibuprofen to help the inflammation?

Hyperkentic Gallbladder
I have been chronically nauseous, with RUQ pressure everyday for 5 months now. Had all tests done, Gerd was diagnosed taking Omeprozole. No heartburn but constant gas, rumbling, nausea and pressure. Not much of appetite, lost 15 pounds. My HIDA scan showed a gallbladder ejection fraction rate of 93%

Oophorectomy, anyone?
Hello everyone! I just had a scan and feel really grateful that so far the Ibrance and Letrozole have reduced the lesions on my rib and pelvis. I am 50 years old, and am premenapausal, so I get a Lupron shot every month. I have been thinking about getting my ovaries removed since 1.) I'm not using

Questions about what happens after hysterectomy & unilateral ovary removal
Hi, Just trying to get my head round my options. I’m due to have an op to remove the endo on my bowel & will probably have a hysterectomy (due to adenomysis) and one ovary removed. I said that I’d prefer to keep my right ovary (which is healthy apparently) as I thought if I do that I might be able

Hysterectomy and bilateral oophorectomy
Hi all, I would be keen to get advice or other people’s perspectives. I am 31 years old and have been struggling with polycystic ovaries and endometriosis from I was roughly 16 years old. I have had multiple surgeries and had an ovarian torsion several years ago which resulted in me having my left fallopian

HELP NEEDED - DESPERATE!!!
I've had 9 ops (
removal
of tubes,
ovary
, fibroids, endometrial scarring) I did and maybe still do have adhesions, but recently a hysteroscope passed through with ease, so my Dr is referring me to expert Dr Lower Harley St for possible Ashermans syndrome only he doesn't think it's Ashermans?

Uretra and ovary stuck solid with adhesions
Hello, have had bilateral salpingo oophorectomy via laparoscopy today. Was more complex than thought as my ovary was fused with adhesions to my uretra. Took some time but managed to chip away. Very painful recovery so far and needed to stay in hospital overnight. Just wandered if anyone has experiences

Unicornuate Uterus and Endometriosis
Hello everyone, I'm a 52 year old mum to a 24 year old daughter who suffers terribly with endometriosis. She was also born with a unicornuate uterus with a rudimentary horn. She's tried all sorts of treatments over the past 3 years without much success, she's now looking at a hysterectomy. Her endometriosis

Polyp removal causing scarring?
Had a hysteroscopy to remove some polyps before egg transfer. Then when I went for my scan after down regulation the clinic have said they may have caused scar tissue we might not be able to proceed. Has anyone else had this. Feel like it was supposed to help but might have made me permanently infertile

I have thyroid cancer 😢
Just been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I had a TT for graves disease and results came back showing cancer of 2cm. It has spread to lymph node so will now have lymph node removal and RAI (once corona virus is over). My world has just come tumbling down 😢

Cholecystectomy & PCa in Patients with Gallstones.
New study below [1]. Here is another curiosity. (Cholecystectomy is removal of the gall bladder. It is a common procedure in the U.S. - ~600,000 annually!) Cholecystectomy was associated with a ~50% increased risk of PCa in years 1 through 5 following the procedure, & double the risk thereafter. From

Frustrated with my recovery....
Had a total hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo oopherectomy and excision for Stage 4 Endometriosis on August 12th 2019 and recovery after this was slow as I expected. Was 12 weeks before going back to work and went back on reduced hours. Now January and still struggling. Don’t know what’s going on inside

G68 scan changed my treatment plan
The kind Moespy here in the group suggested that I write a post about my upcoming treatment. My RP was in Dec 2017 and I was a Gleason 9...three positive lymph nodes and seminal vesicle involved. While my initial post-surgery PSA was a wonderful .009 it slowly crept up over two years to a .38 in Oct
