Headaches with Zoladex and Femosten
The decision will be made in July re- proceeding with a bowel resection, hysterectomy,
removal
of one
ovary
and excision of more endo Vs pain management with Zoladex or otherwise. I won't be able to continue like this. Had my first op in Jan. Still not back at work!

Bowel Issues
Hi Everyone, It’s four weeks since my Bilateral Oophorectomy and about five days now I am experiencing severe bowel pain so bad that It burns for the poop to pass at the bottom. I am not constipated just the passing is painful and burns like pepper. Has anyone felt this before?

Lymphedemajourney
I’ve just had a flare up of my secondary lymphedema due to radical mastectomy and 14 lymph node removal. It will be 2 years May 16, 2018 since my surgery. I’ve been able to control lymphedema with compression sleeve. But now I’ve had this flare up—swelling, upper arm & elbow redness & hot. Also spots

So the nhs won’t perform laparoscopy and
removal
of endometriosis cyst on
ovary
untill I have my op for my deviated septum done first. They seem to think that it may affect the annithetic... My nose op in due in August/September as well as the laproscopy.

Lymph Node Dissection [LND] & Salvage Radiotherapy [sRT].
New Mayo study below [1]. For article, see [2]. When radical prostatectomy (RP) is a primary treatment option, it offers better 10 year survival than radiation. And if it fails, there is always salvage radiation therapy (sRT), which, however, is not offered with curative intent. "Up to 50% of patients

Scared Newbie
I am having a bilateral
ovary
, fallopian tube
removal
and and have opted for womb as well, surgery is on Tuesday 10th. It has all happened so quickly that I think I am only just trying to get my head around it all. I am 52 and had a benign bladder tumour removed in Jan this year.

Advice on recovery time and pain?
Hi I was hoping for some advice on recovery time and pain really. They think I might have endo due to my symptoms and are also doing fertility test as I am 35 and still haven't been able to conceive. I am booked in on Tuesday for a laparoscopy, hystoscopy, dye test and if they find any endometriosis

Large lump in armpit 1 year after SNB
I am exactly one year out from my WLE on my central to upper back, and SNB from my left armpit. Today at Physical Therapy for pain in my left shoulder my therapist found a large lump in my armpit. I’m doing my best staying calm and collected tonight but I’m not going to lie, my head is spinning a bit

Any idea what’s next?
So, I’ve been on hydroxychloroquine for approx 13 years, with methotrexate added in 6 months ago as flares started up after a really dormant time. Whilst I’ve not suffered side effects I also don’t think the methotrexate has helped me at all..... I’ve had steroid jabs to deal with flares during this

Round and round, hi!
Ever increasing/decreasing circles? Been suffering with coughs for around 3-4 years now. Around 1.5 years ago I was referred to ENT where I was diagnosed with nasal polyps, 1 septoplasty and polypectomy later and I get diagnosed with asthma!!! My symptoms start as a cough, leading to a crackle and wheeze

Article from the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Cornell Medical College about multi-modal treatment of advanced disease.
This pilot study may be of interest to most of us since it shows that even with distant metastasis patients can achieve a PSA of 0 (non evidence of disease) if a multi-modal treatment is used. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5468169/ ------------------------ A Pilot Study of a Multimodal

Inactive endometriosis
Hi while my surgeon is performing hysterectomy and
ovary
removal
alongside excision of pelvic endometriosis he has said the endo on my diaphragm is inactive/old and no need to remove. Am confused as thought all endo should be removed, can endo become inactive? Am probably perimenopausal/46.

Emergency Total Hysterectomy
Hello again! Trying to see if there is any such procedure as an emergency total hysterectomy? Have YOU indeed had this as an EMERGENCY PROCEEDURE? I am signed onto the NHS waiting list for said oopherectomy since July 2017, it can't come soon enough. I've been to the A&E department twice since July.

Feeling worse during loading shots, is this normal?
I'm new here and this is my first question/post and this may be answered elsewhere (though I've been looking) so my apologies if it is a repeat and also for the length. I been having all major symptoms of B12 deficiency, including neurological and vision. My PCP sent me to Opthamologist, who referred
