I have been chronically nauseous, with RUQ pressure everyday for 5 months now. Had all tests done, Gerd was diagnosed taking Omeprozole. No heartburn but constant gas, rumbling, nausea and pressure. Not much of appetite, lost 15 pounds. My HIDA scan showed a gallbladder ejection fraction rate of 93%, it seems most Doctors don't acknowledge this as a possible problem. I have read of some trials done for people with high % ( usually over 80 %) who had similar problems and got relief with gallbladder removal, any insight would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hyperkentic Gallbladder
I had my gallbladder removed, on hind site would not do it. If it is diseased perhaps then but it gives more issues down the line.
I am chronically nauseous too, with GERD for which I took omeprazole that made me even more nauseous. I removed my gallbladder but my nausea didn’t go away. So first of all, try to stop omeprazole and see if your nausea improves. I have friends who took omeprazole and had similar problems with constant nausea. It’s a common side effect.
I have 85% EF and am nauseous for about six months. I have had all sorts of pain and diarrhea for three years. Now the pain is mostly RUQ and some LUQ. Oily greasy stools. I have mentioned this to my doc repeatedly and she just brushes it off. I have been referred to pancreatic doc and had every test you can imagine. I swear I had gallstones two months ago when I pooped. I did an elemental diet for about two weeks (mostly with one veggie meal in the evening) and it did help my nausea but not my pain.
