Gallstones - Severe Bloating
I went to the GP due to severe bloating which started back in April/May. It’s always there but worse after eating. GP did bloods (clear) and ultrasound. They found large gallstones. I have been suffering mildly with colic type pain and reflux for a few years. I take PPIs which help, otherwise I struggle

Just finished radiotherapy but feel overwhelmed
Hi everyone This is my first post here and hoping for a little guidance/advice. I was diagnosed in May with grade 3, ER+ HER2- breast cancer. Lymph node removal showed no spread, so lumpectomy and radiotherapy, along with taking Tamoxifen (oncotype result 17, so no chemo). Haven't felt too bad physically

Any light at the end of this long ‘waiting’ tunnel?
Hi everyone , I was just wondering how people have found getting back on track after the Covid thing. I have had a nightmare so am just getting it all out of my system in what might come across as a long whining post ( apologies if it sounds like this) - I have had numerous symptoms that I have struggled

Hysterectomy- should I keep my ovaries?
I had a telephone consultation a couple of weeks ago (not face to face because of lockdown) The Consultant explained that I would need a full hysterectomy with
ovary
removal
as I suffer from severe migraines and can’t take hormone therapy. (I do think the migraines are related to endo!!)

Getting diagnosed
I am 40 years old and have dealt with chronic pelvic pain for years. I am in the US, but I enjoy this forum and I hope it's okay to post here. I'll give you a bit of my history. In 2017, I had several uterine polyps removed. At the time, my surgeon wanted to explore for endometriosis, but I could

Feeling the pain
Last November I had three short courses of Brachytherapy following a hysterectomy for womb cancer. I thought all was going okay but began to have rectal bleeding. To cut a long story short I had a flexi-sig and transanal ultrasound done today. For the first time I saw the issues. Firstly a polyp

Synarel experiences?
I’m due to get full hysterectomy and
ovary
removal
so will go into surgical menopause. In the meantime I will take Synarel to hopefully combat the pain. I’m very nervous about any possible side effects or long term effects of the drug so would love to hear anyone’s experiences. Thank you x

Umbilicus inflamed after lap
I had a lap to remove stage 4 Endo from my rectum and bowels at the end of February and I’ve had nothing but troubles with my belly button. I had key hole surgery so the umbilicus was the main port. Ever since it has been swollen (almost outside my belly button and that’s a deep hole lol) and weeping

What did you take to hospital when you had surgery? (Laparoscopy)
So my surgery is coming up end of month. Laparoscopy and polyp removal. I’ve been told to bring slippers and a robe (dressing gown) which I have and maybe something to entertain myself. Might take my kindle and phone. Is there anything else I need. I’m only meant to be in for the day so won’t need overnight

Hysterectomy and menopause
Hi all I had a total hysterectomy last july and went straight into surgical menopause. There's a few issues I would like advise on. One is I've been left with a lot of loose skin around my belly which has made me very self conscious. I wondered if anyone else has this. Also I've gained alot of weight

Remove polyp before IUI?
Hi All, I’m very new to all this, so any help would be appreciated! I had the HyCoSy test yesterday at my private clinic, and while my tubes are fine - they found a polyp on the lip of my cervix. The doctor said they could still go ahead with IUI, but it’s probably best to have this removed before

Hysteroscopy - Polyp removal
I've just had my hysteroscopy done and I'm so upset as the doctor only removed polyps and didnt do a scratch. He said my lining was ok but the procedure felt very rushed and he literally took 30 secs to remove the polyps. I should have asked at the end but I was in alot of pain. He also said my womb

Non Hormonal Menopause Treatments post Total Abdominal Hysterectomy- no ovaries . Level 4 Endo
I am new to this site, I do hope somebody can help me. 5 weeks ago, I had a total abdominal hysterectomy due to cysts showing on scans and a high result in a CA125 blood test which raised concerns . Fortunately , there are no traces of cancer but as well as my cysts , a polyp , once I was ‘open’ ..endometriosis
