Wondering about Betadine/Povidone-Iodine solution and Thyroid
Hello all, I am preparing for a vacation - something long overdue :-) In my preparations, I decided I needed to bring along a nasal "mist" that would essentially decontaminate my nose from any yucky stuff, viruses - covid or whatever else may be lurking. I just realized that this solution has iodine

Glaucoma, Migraine, Anxiety & Depression : My Story
Hi. First of all this post is not an advert or a recommendation. It is just my Story and an opportunity for me to share my experiences in the hope that some good will come out of the last two years. My sincere wish is that something in my story will help someone that is reading this. Whether that is

How long before you are diagnosed?
I know I had symptoms in the late 1990's and never really took them seriously Yes I had brain fog, yes I was tired etc etc Saw the GP, suggested it was an ear infection.. Eventually got diagnosed in 2014.When I spike to my consultant two weeks ago, she said that most patients do not get diagnosed for

Hi, has anyone elected to stop Methotrixate due to the side effects and inconclusive RA diagnosis. Decided to stop as side effects outweigh benefits! Has anyone then moved on to controlling inflammation with alternatives like turmeric, devils claw or Chinese remedies. There has to be an alternative

Hi, I went swimming in the British sea a few weeks back and afterwards my PT temporarily stopped for 1 whole week! Now it has come on again since but is nowhere near as chronic as it was before. That said, I know from experience it will mostly likely increase again but I'm sure as any of you know, even

Calling all hearing impaired runners
Hi, I need advise from anyone who is deaf and uses over ear hearing aids. Currently I run with my music played through speaker on my phone, as I need my hearing aids to stay safe, traffic etc (I’m sure this is very loud) I’d like to get out and about, change my current, very isolated route. This works

Flecanide daily
I was diagnosed with PAF in 2018 and was originally on Bisoprolol now changed to Nebivolol which suited me better. I was taking 5mg of Nebivolol with Flecanide as a PIP which kept my episodes to 2 or 3 a year. I had to drop the dose as started to deal faint, off balance and dizzy last summer and it
