Hi Sodown, it must be a normal response to the vestibular problem to get high anxiety. Has your doctor given you some medication to help with the vertigo? I had severe vertigo for a week and couldn't get out of bed for the nausea and room spinning. I was given anti sickness tablets. You are in the right place here for advice and finding you are not alone. everyone here is lovely.

Its hard to deal with. I had the same diagnosis. after the week of room spinning vertigo it became BPPV. I had to go to a balance centre at the hospital. My anxiety disorder began with BPPV. Take things easy and do what you can each day.

Being jumpy at the slightest thing is because you are on high level of anxiety. I can feel like I jump out of my skin when I walk down the road and someone slams a car door.
