Chlorinated water protective for CLL?
Wow, surprising. Just found out my water filter hadn't been working and I've been drinking different levels of chlorinated for ? years. So just quickly googled, wondering if that explained my diagnosis 2019. But no! Maybe I should turn off my filter and put Britta aside as well --

A firecracker blew about 5 metres away from me and now I am scared it might have caused damage.
I am very sorry if I am annoying with the frequent posts but the anxiety I got from this is making me want to crawl out of my skin. Today I and about 20 other students and someone threw a firecracker about 5 metres from where I was standing. During school I didn't notice an increase in the tinnitus but

Hearing loss on right side.
I am currently tapering my prednisolone dose from 15mls. to 7mls. I was speaking to my brother in Florida Christmas day and I noticed I was having trouble hearing him through the phone on my right side. It has continued since then. I also have a fuzzy noise occurring with the hearing being decreased

Covid anyone?
For Christmas I received a positive Covid result. I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I had an inflamed spine from a long car ride. So i was on solumedrol 1000 mg once a month and PT(My DMT Copaxone). This was working for me. On December 20th another intravenous solumedrol. I became fatigued and had

Agonising bowel cramps post hysterectomy
Hi there, is this something that will ease with time as my bowel learns how to work again? I has endo removed from my bowel at the same time as hysterectomy so could this be why I'm suffering such pain 3 weeks on? X

New to all this
Hi everyone, This is my first post and wanted to reach out as my husband experienced a tbi 10 months ago following an accident at home. I appreciate it’s extremely early days, but it can be so overwhelming hearing this is such a long haul and is a world that we’re thrust in and it sometimes feels like

Does tinnitus increase following covid booster vaccination?
I got tinnitus and mild hearing loss with vertigo and slight nausea within a day after the second Pfizer dose 5 months ago. The vertigo took 8 weeks to improve I was grounded during that time very unpleasant - I have to have the booster now - I still have the buzzing in my right ear and a pulsatile

Circadian Diet and NADH (as best as a HS graduate can figure out)
So... I speculate a lot. I started the Circadian Diet based on the knowledge that PWP have weak circadian rhythms. I should add that my RBD is getting worse, so either nothing is working, or some of the things I do are working against me. But I digress. This study is about how if you restrict a mouse's

Have had daily dizziness and nausea for the last three months on top of my tinnitus (which starred suddenly in March) and just feeling a bit down about it now as it feels relentless. Update on my Wife's Condition
First of all I'd like to say thanks to people who told me that we were in early days. Even a month ago though (10 weeks after my wife's accident) I wasn't personally positive of much change - she was not showing much sign (to me at least) of regaining any real consciousness and was informally assessed

Back on the Betahistine
Hi all. I messaged about 10 days ago to say that I'd come off the Betahistine as they were giving me daily migraines. I normally get a migraine roughly 3 or 4 times a year, not 2 in 2 days. As a result of stopping the tablets, my T became increasingly bad, back to the clanging, whistling and rushing

Starting to get really worried that my tinnitus increase is permanent.
I have posted a few times about about my most recent tinnitus spike that has been caused by a cold. It's been 7 days now since the beginning and I have kept on living my life and had sort of gotten over the negative emotions but since the spike began it's been so high pitched that I can hear it anywhere

Had a panic attack at school over my most recent tinnitus spike.
Hey people . To give a bit of context : I got a cold 4 days ago and since then my tinnitus has gotten worse and still hasn't improved. Ever since the spike began I have been walking on egg shells in order not to upset myself about the tinnitus but today I really gave into anxiety . Today at school everyone

Ears, Hearing aids and masks - Caution !!
Our ears are so useful, not just for hearing, and keeping our spectacles in place, and for me my single hearing aid rests on right one. An experimental operation killed nerve in left ear years ago. Now we have to wear masks, most of which (including NHS recommendation FFP3) are designed to also go

2 migraines in 2 days and severe tinnitus
Typing this before my vision completely goes. I've had a couple of stressful days and had to take half a Lorazepam to help me sleep for 2 nights in a row which is very unlike me. Is it the Betahistine? Should I come off it? Is it exacerbating the migraines? So fed up 😔😔

Feeling really down...
I have had tinnitus for about a month now. At first it was really bad and made me suicidal but after starting treatment for my sinusitis and getting my emotions in check it started improving and at some point it stopped bothering me. This state of wellbeing continues until yesterday when I got a head
