ENT visit
So, I got to see adn ENT after a referral from my GP. However, it wasnt an ENT but a very nice assistant who did a hearing test, which I have had already and also a pressure test. What was interesting was that the pressure test was normal on my "good" ear but could not be performed on my bad ear.

Possible AN on my left, awaiting an MRI but struggling to take my mind off it
Good morning, I've struggled with a bit of tinnitus for a while so eventually contacted my GP about it 2 years ago. I also often feel a bit dizzy and stuff but I'm a long term Hypothyroidism and pernicious anaemia patient, so that kind of comes with the territory! GP sent me to Specsavers for a hearing

lung hyperinflation,
Having severe shortness of breath month now, chest xray shows moderate lung hyperinflation. Can this be caused by anxiety?

All over the place
The very occasional 6 second screeching in my left ear that I'd had for years suddenly switched on and didn't ever turn off at the beginning of this year. Referred ENT, told 18m wait which would take me upto around Oct next year. I also have Pulsatile tinnitus which was initially noticeable right side

Tinnitus
Hi there I just discovered my tinnitus in May obviously it’s new and I don’t really understand nothing about it or why people get it. One thing is when I’m watching tv I don’t remember that I have it but as soon as the tv is off and I’m trying to get to sleep, then my frustration starts as well as fibromyalgia

New To Tinnitus - Advice & Tips please
I'm very new to T. My Tinnitus only recently started and is a hiss…. Sometimes louder than others. I have had all the medical checks with a top ENT surgeon. My company has medical insurance which was very helpful. The ENT surgeon prescribed one puff of Nasonex (50 Micrograms) in each nostril morning

Supplements working?
Been having these thoughts for a while. I have spent and continue to spend a lot of money on supplements. How do I know if they are working? I've tried things such as Tudca and citicoline, B1 and melatonin, all of which I stopped. Why? I just felt them to be ineffective(?) and not worth the expense

Tinnitus and high dose inhaled steroids
Does anyone know of research into high dose inhaled steroids and tinnitus. I have heard anecdotal evidence from people with asthma, but haven’t found anything online. I’d be interested because my tinnitus came on very suddenly and coincided with a change to higher dose steroid inhaler. Thank you!

Clogged ears
I developed whooshing pulsatile tinnitus in my right ear a few years back. It's very loud. When I perform The Valsalva maneuver or rub my ear it feels clogged and doesn't seem to resolve itself. It just doesn't feel right. Does anyone experience anything similar and whether this can be related to the

Any advice on tapering prednisolone with Methotrexate and RoActemra?
hello...would be grateful for words of wisdom and experience. Feeling confused on how to manage steroid reduction. Started Methotrexate 5 weeks ago and 3rd RoActemra injection tomorrow. Was told to reduce steroids from a high of 55mg at 5mg/week back in May. Am now on 20mg, reducing to 15mg on this

Nerve block for wrist surgery

Antihistamines and tinnitus
I have had right sided tinnitus for over 4 months. I have seen ENT, audiology , MRI etc. There are no reasons found for the tinnitus. I am partially habituated but it can lead to loss of sleep at night. However, I get pollen allergies at about this time of year and start taking antihistamine - ceterizine
