Crizotinib update
Hi everyone. Thought It was time for an update on how my husband Steve is doing on crizotinib. He started it last September and is still taking it. His original side effects have virtually disappeared and it really has given us our life back. He's just had a stable scan which is great. We had a

Bowel issues and Itching
Hi I have had PBC for about 9 years. Two uestions for everyone. 1. Has anyone experienced bowel issues requiring a bowel resection and Ostomy? 2. Just recently I have started to experience itching. Normally it has a fairly nasty rash with it and small hives. Is this the experience of others?

Stressful Day
I've had a tiring day after travelling from my home to London where I am being sent for my surgery as Southend do not have the specialist needed. I got there early but then my appointment ran two hours late. I wasn't expecting my information to be sugar coated but I got told a whole range of things

Questions so far for the Colo-Rectal surgeon. Can you think of anymore?
1. How many women have you treated for Endo? 2. Are you currently treating anybody else for Endo? 3. Have you collected and published any data in regards to Endo that I can view online? 4. What is your action plan for my treatment? 5. How long doyou think it will take to complete the gathering of

Hi ladies. Just an update on where I've been at for the last 3 weeks. Bowel op - outcome
So I finally has my bowel resection to remove the remainder of the endo. The surgery went well in the sense that I did not need a stoma as they were able rejoin it. It took just over 6 hours for the resection. In equally good news there was no trace of my previously excised endo or endo anywhere other

Extensive ultra radical surgery
Well after my very emotional day at the hospital yesterday I didn't sleep much last night. I'm having what's called extensive ultra radical surgery, which involves removal of any signs of cancer from my organs. I say emotional as I had a meeting with a stoma nurse just in case they find anything on

The story so far
I started a new job in October 2015 and decided it would be a good idea to cycle to work and get a bit fitter. After a couple of days I noticed that my urine was a bit darker than normal, but didn't think too much about it. Then one day I noticed a small blood clot. This worried me a bit, so I went straight

FIGHTING BACK
I've been called a "warrior" a number of times, but I didn't really feel like one until I began radiation this past Tuesday, March 28. Somehow just taking the hormone therapy didn't seem like actively fighting against the cancer, but now it's different, somehow. Even having my testicles
