Me after fighting years of bladder cancer !

I had bladder cancer at age 30  and was devastated but I've over come it now I have a urostomy but now my kidneys are giving me trouble I keep having bouts of renal failure when I get an infection! Very frustrating but thank full to god I'm still here !

I my husband is same he had bladder removed in 2014  had a lot of trouble with bag not sticking and leeking but got sorted

Hi...hope  your husband has found a bag that suits and sticks well

Good to hear you doing so well....I often wonder if having urostomy puts more strain on kidneys

I have a kidney not working and I told my surgeon If its obsolete take it out but he said it safer to leave it in so if the left one is ok that's ok with me. I have had chronic kidney failure for the past ten years so they do wear well. Good luck with your continuing recovery with your kidneys and with the antibiotics of today you will be fine  I have had six ops for various things and after each one I have felt better,
