Need all teeth out in order to sort bones! Anyone any experience of Guys Teaching Hospital Dentistry.
Results haven't declined too much so
Osteopenia
overall at present but bone at base of spine (which has always been lower than the rest ) has Osteoporosis level T scores. Plus Orthropaedic consultant recorded Osteoporosis in shoulder on discharge letter when I had op at Christmas.

Xgeva frequency ?
My latest bone scan on April 8, 2019, showed T-scores as follows: Lumbar spine (-2.4) Left hip (-2.2) Right hip (-2.0) Right femoral neck (-2.6) My understanding of these scores is that the first 4 scores shows
osteopenia
and the last one shows osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis and HRT for the over 60s
I was refused HRT during my menopause in spite of then having
osteopenia
and no obvious risk factors for HRT- it was simply getting a bad press at the time due to some research (which was later found to be flawed). I’m now 64 and was diagnosed with OP last year.

Dexa Scan Results
(
Osteopenia
) with lowest Tscore of -1.9 at APspine. Tscores at Femoral Neck and Total Hip are -0.7 and -0.1. GP explained it all and recommended I restart AA. I declined but she says she has to recommend but it is up to me in the end. I am presently on 5.5.

Another thing is, I had a DEXA scan in April and it’s showing no osteoporosis now but still

( previous scan 2 years ago showed osteoporosis) Gp said DEXA result this time was better than previous one.

Osteoporosis versus having all my teeth out!!!!!!! Advice sought on annual injections.
As suspected, due to advanced gum disease, I will need to have all my remaining teeth out if I am to have annual injection to hopefully stop
Osteopenia
morphing into Osteoporosis. A dexa scan reveals a couple of bones in spine have worsened, but overall I am borderline.

Osteopenia diagnosis from an x ray?
He has had a letter today telling him that he has
osteopenia
. Can this be detected from an x ray? I only ask as mine was diagnosed from a DEXA scan.

I am new here. How long did you stay on 10 mg of prednisone?
After one month on prednisone, my blood tests went back to normal and my DEXA scan showed borderline
osteopenia
/osteoporosis. My rheumatologist prescribed AA, never took it.

Itching-Symptoms of decreased B-12
I also have back pain in the upper back, Vitamin D deficiency, magnesium deficieny, gluten intolerant, gerd, hypothyroid, RA, osteoarthritis,
osteopenia
. In January, B-12 level dropped to the eight hundreds, and he said I would have enough b-12 in his lifetime! What a jerk!

Bisphosphonates for wedge fractures
Anyway the current issue is that a first Dexa scan, ordered by the rheumatologist that my GP wanted me assessed by, showed
osteopenia
and query compression fractures. A follow up xray has confirmed fractures at T10 and T11 probably steroid-induced they suggested. I see the GP next week.

Experience with Prolia injections for osteoarthritis, osteopenia, etcetera
Just wanted to know how many of you have experienced with the Prolia injection that last 6 months in your body. No matter what happens if you have an adverse affect you either have to be in the hospital all the time to fix whatever it does to you or sometimes it can be deadly. I say this because my husband
