Apnea due to opioid use?
I read that one of the causes of central sleep apnea is opioid use. That puts the person at risk for stroke or heart issues. There apparently is no treatment for refractory RLS that doesn't have serious side effects. My question is this: Has anyone with RLS developed apnea as a probable result of opioids

Dopamine agonists and their aftermath - A Survey
Hello All I have been off dopamine agonists for more than two years now, thanks to methadone and buprenorphine. Both were - and are - a blessing (insofar as any drugs could be called such), as many of you will know. But I would like to know how many of us feel, even long after quitting dopamine agonists

If the benefits of AZ vaccine highly outweigh the risks, why is the position of GP's not to administer it with sedatives ASAP to my son?
My son has Autism and Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome, he is registered with his GP as Clinically vulnerable. As his main carer I was offered the Coronavirus Vaccine under the conditions of being a carer for a person that is clinically vulnerable. However, as he is so scared of needles and has a known history

Adrenaline free or not at dentist

Dental treatment on Apixaban
Hi everyone, I am in the unfortunate position of needing a dental implant for a broken front tooth/crown. Not only is this extremely expensive but I am also concerned about bleeding as I am on apixaban. Has anyone had a similar experience with invasive dental treatments whilst on blood thinners?

Hello I’m wondering if there is anyone out there who has or knows of anyone who has suffered issues after broken ribs. I’m desperately looking to share experiences. I fell and had rib fractures plus a punctured lung in December 2016. I was in hospital until the lung was re inflated then sent home. 5

The Appropriate Use Of Opioids in RLS Treatment
Hello friends, I hope this post finds you all well. I’m just making sure everyone has this article to present to their physicians if it’s seeming like opioids may be necessary to treat your RLS. Have a great weekend, Jim https://www.mayoclinicproceedings.org/article/S0025-6196(17)30825-X/pdf

Gabapentin/Pregabalin - Who is actually finding this helps their RLS?
There has been a lot of advice on this Forum about A2B Ligands being first line of treatment (?) and I was thinking there must be a lot of people out there who were advised to come off DA's (slowly) and go onto these Ligands. Then I am reading a lot of posts of people whereby these Ligands stop working

Antibiotics triggering your RLS???
Hi folks! Just a query about whether any of you have experienced RLS from antibiotics. I currently have an intractable UTI that I've had since about the 20th of January. I'm on my third lot of antibiotics and I've been given Co-Amoxiclav, a combination antibiotic. On the second day of use I had very

Starting Rubraca
I saw my onc today, and the Carbo/Caelyx has worked well, so I will be starting Rubraca in the next few weeks after some pressing dental treatment. I shall doubtless be troubling you ladies with all sorts of PARP type queries! Jenny

Trying another dopamine agonist (yeah, I know....🙁)
I’ve posted here before. I have severe RLS. I was on requip and ambien for several years and augmented on the requip. Took me a year and a half to come off it-had terrible withdrawals. Took klonopin to help come off the last of it. Went on gabapentin 900 mg -still didn’t work with klonopin for help
