My ongoing RLS battle
This is a follow up to my post “Life After Ropinirole”. Shortly after I posted my body decided it had had too many opioiods and I became more sick than I had ever gotten on opioids before. It came on suddenly without warning. No chance to make any changes to prevent it. The nausea was so very intense

Gabapentin and CKD
I have CKD stage 3A. I am 57. I will be having surgery to relieve a horrible, pinched nerve in my neck. (Spinal stenosis) It is extremely painful. I don't want to take opioids for many reasons and because I have kidney disease, I only take Tylenol which is like taking air when going up against this level

Educating my Canadian Dr on opioids and RLS
I have suffered with RKS for about 10 years.I believe mine is caused by a dopamine deficiency.I live in Canada and I’m not sure my Dr woukd prescribe an opioid .. my guess is he wouldn’t.Is there any kind of literature or study that I can refer too to perhaps ask him to educate himself on RLS, as I can

Tramadol and the covid booster.
Hi. I have my booster covid vaccine coming up in early January, but between now and then I will have several days of taking Tramadol (orodispersible Zamadol) for endo pain. Does anyone know how many days there should be, in between taking opioids and getting the vaccine? I'm keen to find out as I know

Anticoagulants and diabetes drugs send a significant amount of adults ages 65 and older to the emergency room each year.
New research looking into adverse effects from medication use found that anticoagulants (blood thinners) and diabetes drugs send a significant amount of adults ages 65 and older to the emergency room each year. Younger adults, between the ages of 25 and 44, were more likely to experience medication

Ranking the opioids for RLS
I'd love to see experienced members rank the various opioids for efficacy. Include advantages, disadvantages, side effects etc Which ones should be avoided, etc. Include kratom on the list. Maybe we can all agree on one "master list"?!!!

Augmentation
I guess I'm trying to determine if RLS augmentation is only experienced in those who have used dopamine agonists for a period of time? Or, do other classes of medications also cause augmentation to a degree? And last, how do we separate augmentation from the natural progression of untreated RLS? First

Zoledronic acid and dental treatment
Good morning all. It's been a while since I have been active on the forum but read it regularly and I am aware that there has been discussion about bisphosphonates and dental treatment. Natural remedies and food supplements
This is mainly a personal view of the usefulness of these for RLS, but is based on some reading. I hope it is a balanced view. Hopefully it offers some guidance for when you're choosing remedies. The 3 main things you should find out about when choosing a remedy. 1) EFFECTIVENESS : does it actually
