Omega 3's to reduce some MPN issues?
Two of my favorite experts did a podcast: https://hubermanlab.com/dr-rhonda-patrick-micronutrients-for-health-and-longevity/ I already take DHA and EPA but since listening I've increased my doses and changed to another supplement (and now keep it in the refrigerator). This and taking more Magnesium

Pro Resolving Mediators : reduce neuro inflammation and are easily accessible
I learned of Pro Resolving Mediators from Chris Masterjohn PhD. Is anyone using Pro Resolving Mediators? Quote: “In PD, data suggest SPM are able to cross the blood-brain barrier, inhibit microglial activation and decrease induced markers of inflammation” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles

Combined vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids and a simple exercise program may reduce cancer risk among active adults aged 70 plus
In the "DO-HEALTH" randomized clinical trial with 2,157 relatively healthy participants aged 70 plus, supplementation with daily high-dose vitamin D3 plus omega-3s, combined with a simple home exercise program (SHEP), showed no significant improvement in systolic or diastolic blood pressure, nonvertebral

News that worried us and studies that gave us hope (04/2022).
This is the information that gave us hope while my father was alive and has given hope to many since then (March 2012). 1. News that worried us. In the coming decades the number of Parkinson's disease patients is feared to increase very worryingly, to double by 2030 (Dorsey 2007) and even to triple

Omega-3s could boost immunotherapy's cancer-fighting power
The researchers found that dietary omega-3 fatty acid supplementation blocked tumor growth in mice treated with immunotherapy, sEH inhibitor, or both treatments used together. In contrast, mice on the high-omega-6 diet and given immunotherapy experienced accelerated tumor growth in certain tumor types

Omega 3 fatty acids
I have extremely dry skin and wondering if I should take omega 3 fatty acids. I cannot eat sardines or tuna as have reactions to tinned fish. I probably do not get any omega 3. Cannot eat nuts either. Which are best supplements to take and good absorption?

I wondered if anyone is kindly able to offer advice please. I recently lost my dad suddenly a month ago. I was able to carry on working for a 3 weeks, though I was upset, I was able to physically work. However last week because it was his funeral I went downhill on the Monday suffering with an enormous

Hi all I've been a little quiet on here with my own updates as I have been wrapping my mental health in cotton wool a little after the rollercoaster of our last transfer attempts and miscarriage last year. Is that normal blood pressure be higher than normal in B12 deficiency ?
My blood pressure increased soon after my severe neurologic symptoms started l. I have bad muscle weakness and numbness in arms and eyesight problems. Its challenging for me to walk. Too much pressure I feel during walking or standing and sweat like a rain. My blood pressure was 14.9 over 9.8 today.

How to Increase BDNF
So somebody over on FB posted they were taking BDNF for PD anxiety (or maybe just for anxiety) so I Googled and found BDNF = Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor and BDNF supplements do not contain Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor. But I did find this article on strongcoffee.com. https://strongcoffeecompany.com

Fibromyalgia In PD And Some Potential Relief
Fibromyalgia (FM) is slightly more common in people with PD and FM can cause all over body pain that moves around and can affect tissues, joints and muscles. This group of people with PD and FM are more likely to get dementia and have worse symptoms. FM can cause painful flare-ups at random times, but

Does yeast infection diet really work, or it is a loss of time? (vaginal)
I am interested in personal experiences with this diet. I am kind of desperate. It's been almost 8 months of treatment and although there is an improvement with boric acid, it is not totally cured. I also use organic propolis, C vitamin, omega 3, cranberry supplements, probiotics, D vitamin. Has anyone

Is anyone here boosting their plasmalogen levels?
I've watched several interviews with biochemist Dayan Goodenowe PhD (https://drgoodenowe.com/) where he discussed increasing plasmalogen levels to prevent Alzheimer's and other dementias. He mentioned that higher plasmalogen levels also help in Parkinson's by improving function in dopaminergic neurons
