Good morning on a sunny clear frosty day. Does anyone have experience of using marine collagen while on an anticoagulant? I have osteoarthritis but had to stop helpful supplements such as fish oil and glucosamine and chondroitin when I began taking Edoxaban. Certainly the fish oil with high Omega 3 was out of the question. I have searched the internet snd it seems Marine collagen has no Omega 3. Pain specialist wasn’t up on anything except the pharmaceuticals. Does the liquid marine collagen or any collagen supplement help with your pain. Thank you for any comments or experience you may have.

Hi Peileen. When you said pain specialist wasn’t up on anything except pharmaceuticals I wasn’t sure what you mean?
In your position I’d get straight down to my pharmacist as they’ve spent years training on medicines and their side effect and inter-reactions, and if you’re in the UK the vast majority of them are more than happy to,discuss.
I see from an earlier post of yours that you were concerned about a tummy drug inter reacting with a statin: I’ve been taking these with no probs for some years.
