Does yeast infection diet really work, or it is a loss of time? (vaginal)

I am interested in personal experiences with this diet. I am kind of desperate. It's been almost 8 months of treatment and although there is an improvement with boric acid, it is not totally cured. I also use organic propolis, C vitamin, omega 3, cranberry supplements, probiotics, D vitamin. Has anyone tried garlic capsules for curing yeast infection, in addition to the conventional medication?
