I have been on two oestrogen patches every other day since beginning my medicated FET cycle. I am 10 weeks pregnant tomorrow and my clinic have said I can stop all medication then. However, I have decided to carry on taking progesterone until week 12, gradually reducing the dosage, just to be safe.
There doesn’t appear to be any advice about oestrogen though. The clinic appear happy for me to reduce from 2 patches every other day to 1 and then stopping completely at week 11.
If anyone has been on oestrogen in any form and achieved a pregnancy, at what point did you stop taking it?
Thanks in advance!

I was supposed to stop all my hormones at week 12, but everyone is different. I am sure you can trust your clinic on when it's safe to stop, and do check with them of course before you do something different than advised. Xx
Hi lovely, I wasn’t on patches but the meds I was on they gave me a guide of how many to take on wk10 and 11 so by week 12 I was completely off them. Different hospitals and clinics have different ways. On average they say the placenta takes over at wk 10 which is probably why they have suggested that but definitely no harm to stay on them for a couple of weeks more xx
