Chronic pain and hypothyroidism - ideas? Will NDT eventually bring relief?
My clinician has suggested that the pain will ease as my
oestrogen
levels rise which should happen 3 to 6 months after starting NDT.

Follicle confused with cyst
Hi ladies just wondering if anyone has shared the same experience as I had. I was going for cycle monitoring for TIC & my follicle size was measuring @ 1.7 cm for 2 scans. Then they noticed a decrease in my estrogen levels & thought that it may be a cyst not a follicle. They will do another blood test

Results with estrogen.
Hello again, brothers and sisters. I am just wondering if anyone else has enjoyed the amazing successes that Ronron has had with estrogen applied transdermaly. Please explain how you apply, if you use it exclusively, how much, where you get it, etc.. Big hugs and Best wishes to all.

Depression getting worse
This was denied and I was given progesterone cream as a Dutch test showed I am
oestrogen
dominant. I had a terrible reaction to this, im clearly intolerant and quit after 9 days. I haven't felt right since the progesterone, but recently something has changed and I feel truly awful.

Searching for estrogen patch or gel
Dear brothers and sisters. I reside in El Salvador and am searching for estrogen in patch or gel wondering if this might help hold off the beast, as it has for Ronron and others. In El Salvador, they only have tablets of .65 mg. I have read that the tablets are dangerous because they are processed

New drug for treating hot flashes under FDA review
This article appeared in Natl Geographic's online daily. Because it is behind a paywall, I have copied it below. While the drug is primarily intended for menopausal women, the article notes that future beneficiaries could include men taking drugs for prostate cancer. Is it possible to cure hot

Pregnancy disrupts the accuracy of automated fT4 immunoassays
This paper includes: Indeed the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry working group for Standardization of Thyroid Function Tests acknowledged the need for standardization of the fT4 assay. Have to say, in my facetious moments, I have wonder what the IFCCSTFT group do when they are

New to OP, Hormone for building bones
It was suggested that there is a hormone that helps to build bone. I am not talking about estrogen. Soon I will be 70 and that hormone has an increased risk of cancer. Is there another hormone for bone density? I have taken the recommended supplements, 1200 mg calcium and D3 along with the recommended

It's game over for us - how do we move on from failed IVF?
We then did the
Oestrogen
patches in Auguts and IVF 6 in September. Follicles and estradiol test looked good and like we would get 6 eggs.

OHSS possible with a low number of eggs?
Severe bloating and massive pain in the abdomen (and even more sever ones every 5 minutes or so) and I cannot even lie down due to shooting pain in the rib cage. The doctor thinks it is ohss. Can it happen with a low number of eggs? My estrogen level was elevated before egg collection but nothing concerning

burning from estradiol vag cream
I've been prescribed a generic estradiol vaginal cream for vaginal atrophy due to menopause. I'm actually still in perimenopause but about 4 years ago (age 46) I began to get UTI's after intercourse and would feel irritated and itchy also. It's just gotten worse over time and now it's really bad.

DHEA or PREGNENOLONE?
I also take 4 grains of NDT and 100
Oestrogen
. The DHEA has worked really well and my DHEA is now well in range 250 (106-300). However, now my testosterone is raised to 2.7 (<1.2).

When you stop meds?
So having had treatment in Cyprus, they told me to continue to take the progesterone and
oestrogen
for 3 months. However, I asked again last week for more detail about how do I know when to stop and how, and they have told me I need to speak to my OBS/GYN doctor.

looking for a bit of advice regarding FET
Hi everyone, I had egg collection and failed fresh transfer in October after which I had a bleed. I ovulated around 14 days ago so expected my period today but no sign. The clinic rang me out of the blue yesterday and said they could do a FET this month and to start estrogen the day my period starts

Confusion
Due to discomfort, burning and a feeling that something was wrong, I was examined at my doctor's surgery and diagnosed with a vaginal prolapse requiring surgery. The waiting list is long. I went to a private clinic, hoping to get the surgery and get back to work. However, she examined me and said that
