Managing endometriosis / adenomyosis pain during treatment.
I am currently on Buserelin and Estrogen Patches in prep for my FET first week of Jan. Prior to this I had Prostap for 8 weeks and it really helped with my pain. Towards the last week of the Prostap I could tell my pain was increasing and since starting the other medication it has gotten worse. I

nausea with estrogen tablets
Hi, I’m on a FET cycle and started taking estrogen tablets three days ago and I’ve been feeling sick since so I presume it’s these tablets that are causing it. I want to eat healthy whilst building the lining up but I’ve hardly eaten anything and if I have it’s been rubbish foods, now I’m beating myself

hypothyroid following partial thyroidectomy. Question about HRT and optimum T4 levels.
I found something that said don't take
oestrogen
too close to Levo dose but as I have a patch rather than a tablet, is that different? How does
oestrogen
affect thyroxine? Will i need more of one or the other? I have only been on levo for 2 months so just learning about how it affects me.

Menopause and HRT
it’s just after 3am on Christmas night and I’m lying in bed wide awake knowing that something needs to change. My gynae has ruled HRT out for me as the endo used to be so aggressive, particularly in terms of ovarian cysts and she fears that feeding it estrogen will reawaken the beast. When I naively

I cannot take HRT (and have no desire to) due to my ovarian (sub-type endometrioid) cancer and endometrial cancer both being

receptor positive.

Mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy plus 15 yrs of
oestrogen
suppressing medication. 2022 big shock, mets in bones, liver & lungs. On ibrance 100g & letrazole. First scan showed a good reduction everywhere. Obviously things have moved on enormously since my initial diagnosis in 2001.

Sciatica with endometriosis - 2 years of pain
After being trialled on a
oestrogen
blocker to see if endo was likely a problem for my pelvic pain, I started to notice that my sciatica was improving. It wasn’t until then that I found the connection of it being very cyclical with my hormones.

PET to image estrogen receptors
Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! I read awhile back on here about women getting PET scans which used agents to image estrogen receptors, not the typical glucose agent. Can someone tell me what the test is called (PET imaging with FES?) and if you’ve used it, has it helped in detection of any new

A new study recently discovered that women who died from Alzheimer’s had a higher amount of a chemically-modified version of the protein complement C3 in their brains compared

2nd Miscarriage - Any Advice?
My wife (36) and I (33) have been struggling to conceive with unexplained infertility. We started IVF back in July and had a fresh transfer followed by a double FET last month, sadly both attempts ended in an early miscarriage before week 6. We started with 7 embyros and now we have 3 left now (1 didn't

Any live birth success transfering PGT-A aeuploids? Or much better egg quality after high dose ubliquinol?
I’m 40. I just found out that all of my FIVE day 5 blastocysts came back aeuploid from the PGT-A. Massively disappointed as my FSH was 5.4 to start and Estrogen response was 3 times better than my last retervial when i was 38, even my husband sperm quality has improved. But the result didn’t add up.

ERA process
My consultant said that I'd contact them when I reach day 1 of my next cycle then take progesterone for 5 days then
oestrogen
for 10 days but I've been searching on the internet and see that there is a bleed in between so now I'm confused on dates and wondering if the ERA will clash with my planned holiday

Should I stop any supplements after transfer?
Hi all, Am finally getting to go through my first frozen transfer after 3 cancelled cycles (one fresh two frozen). I'm currently taking a few supplements (have been for at least 9 -12 months) but is there any that I should stop taking the day of or after transfer? I assume most are fine but just wanted
