Im 10+ 4 and have reduced my utrogestan tablets and removed my estrogen patches as per my clinics guidance to taper off my medication towards 12 weeks but am getting had period type pains around my lower back, severe headaches and am emotions are off the wall. Is this normal and to be expected or a sign that my body can't cope with the fluctuation in meds?
i'm still on 3 oral estrogen tablets and 1 vaginally & still on lubion progesterone ibgextiovs, cyclogest and crinobe - it was just the lentogest injections and utrogestan i had stopped so far (i was on a lot of everything due to lining issues and low progesterone!)
So scared i will loose this baby!
Thank you in advance

I had AF like cramping and back ache for most of the first 12 weeks it worried me a lot but was all fine and now am 28 weeks. The pain could just be round ligament pain due to the muscles around the cervix stretching. Give your clinc call they will be able to advise you. Sending positive vibes xx
I was an emotional mess until after 20 weeks, over reacted to everything my poor husband felt like he was walking on egg shells around me. All the changes happing inside us it's completely normal to be an emotional wreck so don't be hard on yourself! X
ok thank you! I was just terrified my body was reacting like not to me tapering down the meds as i hadn't been too bad until that! 🙈 Irs awful isn't it! i'm acting like a proper psycho!
Psycho 🤣 I know that feeling well I snapped at the smallest things and was forever apologising after my poor husband had to put ip a lot from me. It will pass in time and you will be back to your normal self. X
