I apologize to the estrogen gender for some of my judgements and thoughts in my lifetime up to now.
I apologize to the estrogen gender for some of my judgements and thoughts in my lifetime up to now. I sat there stupidly staring at the TV through at least 5 minutes of commercials - bottom of the hour - tears running down my face. "What's wrong?" she asked me. "Nothing" I mumbled. Estradiol - side effects & weight gain?
I was wondering if anyone gets any side effects from the estrogen tablets? I am on double dose plus estrogen patches and I always seem to get palpitations, a blurry head/ headaches & a slight shortness of breath when I take them as well as feeling sickly unless it is just a coincidence? Also I am convinced

Best treatment for Osteoporosis in the hips.
have been told that Prolia (denosumab) is less effective for reducing hip fractures and increases infection risks. Can Prolia increase bone density in the hips (i.e. Femur neck left and femur neck right) and reduce the risk of hip fracture after a fall or should my mother go for Reclast / Aclasta (zolendronic

low estrogen causing uti's continually
I have low estrogen causing uti's continually. My problem is that the local vaginal estrogens (3 different kinds so far) cause unbearable side affects. I feel I'm allergic or sensitive to the other chemical ingredients. I'm very sensitive to drugs. What on earth can I do. Down there needs estrogen to

Xtandi (enzalutamide) hacks
I've been on enzalutamide a little over a year now. It does the trick. My PSA has been undetectable until recently - and that's on two pills a day. I started out with four but needed my brain to earn a living (I'm an engineer). I'm a fitness guy. I road bike, mountain bike, or lift weights in the gym

Fluid in uterus
Hi ladies, Has anyone had any fluid in the uterus issues. I am currently on 4th cycle ivf. Had a laparoscopy to remove swollen fallopian tubes due to fluid in both. I am now on a monitoring cycle and have been on estrogen tablets. Since then, this fluid has returned. So cant proceed with any embryo transfer

PBC and oral estrogen (estrace or premarin)
What is known about the effects of oral estrogen on the liver? Does oral HRT (hormone replacement therapy) cause liver inflammation that may lead to PBC? Thank you.

Clonidine
Hi lovely ladies, I've been prescribed Clonidine by the nurse practitioner, it's to help with my night time hot flushes and lack of sleep due to this. I did check with her whether it would be OK with my tamoxifen and the answer was yes it's fine. However, this morning I woke up in a bit of a panic as

Menopausal women in the UK facing severe HRT shortage
There are several reasons for posting. a) We have quite a number of members on HRT; b) It highlights the lack of information about medicine shortages which affects HRT, thyroid and, probably, every other area of medicine; c) Hopefully it raises awareness among those who might be affected. It is not

Anyone else in my position or similar? 38.1st failed ICSI attempt. Never been a mum before.
Finding it tough to find anyone in my situation. I know I've posted LOADS but I find this site such tremendous support. I feel so out of my depth with ivf and I'm a bit of a novice by all accounts. I'm 38, naturally high AMH with no underlying issues. Most of the stories I see on here are low AMH, PCOS

How many days on oestrogen before progesterone during a FET cycle?
Hi, Firstly just wanted to thank all you lovely ladies so far for all your support. You have given me so much reassurance. Another request for advice. I've now been on oestrogen tabs 2mg three times a day for 14 days for a FET cycle. Lining checked today, day 15 and is 10mm thick. They said I am to

5DP3DT - 2WW - symptoms question
Hi wonderful support community I made a little shrine/altar today for my four little embabies. Two boy shells, two girl shells, lovely smelling oils, sparkly pineapple, a Greek coin and a photo of my four. Feels nice to be shining a light on them. I have a boob question :) my nipples are out of control

Bleeding @12w after stopping estrogen/progesterone
Hi, I’m 12w pregnant after a FET. I had a pinkish-brownish spotting between week 4 and 9 but doc told to worry only if it was bright red. I was taking 8mg per day of estrogen (progynova) + 800 mg per day of progesterone (Utrogestan) + injection 25 mg Lubion (progesterone). Fertility clinic told me to

Microvascular angina
Hi just joined the group as I have been recently diagnosed with angina. I’m, or was, very fit and healthy running swimming and cycling regularly. I am really frustrated as exertion brings on the angina symptoms. I’m back at the hospital this week and having read up on the BHF site think I have Microvascular

Oral progesterone 10 or 25 days a month?
I'd like to hear from those of you on oral progesterone, especially bio-identical as I'm not sure progestins are taken the same way. I have taken Utrogestan 200 mg for ten days a month (day 15-25 of cycle) for the past few years (along with Estrogel day 5-25). A few months ago, my doctor suggested I

Unresponsive endometrium
Anyone been told they have unresponsive endometrium? I have 4 frozen top grade embryos but my cycle cancelled due to thin lining, after a hysterscopy that ruled out Ashermans I’ve been told my uterus just doesn’t respond to Estrogen. I’m petrified that this is the end of the road.

Evie, Stevie, Rufus and Doofus (Evie is only real name here - I wouldn't really call my baby a doofus :) )
Four little embabies on board. All perfect 8 cells on day three. Saw the NHS odds for IVf success at 43... 3.8% so praying these four can help my odds and deliver a healthy baby. Not really sunk in yet but I can’t share with many people due to sick parents and husband’s ex wife and step kids. But I
