5DP3DT - 2WW - symptoms question

Hi wonderful support community

I made a little shrine/altar today for my four little embabies. Two boy shells, two girl shells, lovely smelling oils, sparkly pineapple, a Greek coin and a photo of my four. Feels nice to be shining a light on them.

I have a boob question :) my nipples are out of control. Big and red and sore like winegums. Is this the progesterone and estrogen. Not had it before. But this is my first two week wait.

I’ve been cramping lightly last two days and sore and white discharge and eating all the food.

My husband (the original sparklecock) has said we can test together on Saturday morning when I’ll be 9dp3dt. OTD is Monday. I have issues with impulse control so this seems a fair idea.. though having seen others test early and see faint lines I must admit to being tempted!

Ok. Back to the boobs. They’re a 34GG to start with and are always super sore during ovulation and before period but the nipples... that’s new.

Anyone with similar experience?

Much love

Alison and her Wine Gums

Hey lovely. progesterone always sends my nipples bonkers! Rock hard like bullets and very sensitive! Likely to be that but can also be a positive sign although I guess things are still early for you.

My clinic make me wait until 14dp3det to test!! Glad you dont have to wait as long

Masses of luck to you and the cock that sparkles!!! xx

Hey lovely Daisy - I responded to this before I fell asleep last night but mustn't have sent.

I just wanted to say you're so generous - to be on here and helping other women when you've just had such shit news. I bow down to you! What a wonderful community this is. And I changed my profile pic so you can see the cock that sparkles... and don't think i'm actually infatuated with my husband and think he has a golden cock... he's no Beckham... and I'm no Posh. He's driven me to steps of insanity several times during both rounds of IVF because... you know... men! Hope you have a fine day <3 xxx

😂😂 joys of the 2WW eh! My nipples were mega itchy during my 2WW and throughout the pregnancy so far. They also went massive and much much darker over the course of maybe 10 days or so. No idea why 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ but hopefully it's a positive sign for you x

Hey Kitty Cat

Thanks so much.

So sorry to hear about your rainbow baby but elated by Little Mr or Miss 2020!! You must be over the moon to be into your second trimester now.

As for men - they're not all sparklecocks - lots are cocks - mine doesn't even drink and he definitely is!

They want ALL the attention - so when we go into IVF or pregnancy land they get jealous. Man babies. Lucky they are also cute some of the time so we can forgive them.

Hope you're all good now

xxx

Absolutely marvellous thanks my dear 👍🏼 Whoever said pregnancy is magical though is a straight up loon 😂 so grateful though and I'd go through it a thousand times if that's what it takes. Fingers crossed for a positive test for you next week x

Thanks hon - I just saw you're a teacher too - so if the dream happens I'll be trying to figure out what to do - in uber debt after 2 x foreign IVF sessions so can't take time off - we do get 14 weeks paid though. Advice from other teachers has been to get a note from docs saying your due date is two weeks later so you can have maternity leave from due date - that way you don't 'waste' those two weeks - obviously you'd rather have time off when baby is here than before. Hopefully you have a friendly doctor who will do that for you? Or perhaps you could visit another one and give slightly different dates? Good luck! xx

Kitcat12 in reply toSparkleCock

Unfortunately my head teacher already knows my due date, otherwise I would definitely have done this, could really do with the extra time! I'm also financially challenged (skint!) so will only be taking 18 weeks maternity as it stands. Going to try to save up but I'm awful at saving 🤷🏽‍♀️ With your 4 embryos on board you could end up with a super expensive future 😂 have they given you an idea how likely you are to end up with twins, or more?!

Ah bugger. No one but my two best friends at school know so I would be super secret squirrel if my dreams come true.

As for the multiples, all research shows that with 4 embryo transfers, the eldest anyone in any study has had twins has been at 41, and that's been in only 10% of cases - so at 43 it's extremely unlikely. If it did happen though I'd be over the moon. Triples and quads seem to happen when women use donor eggs and multiple transfers.

As for my actual odds, at 43 - it's 3% that IVF will work at all so...

Wow 3%. I will keep everything crossed that you're in that 3%. Best of luck lovely, I'll be looking out for your updates x

The shrine is soooo sweet!!!😊

I'm 6dp5dt and I carry the picture of my embryo transfer in my handbag.

Not sure about the boobs but the progesterone can mimick many pregnancy symptoms

My sense of smell is now so accute I often need to cover my nose on the tube, I feel dizzy, sometimes nauseous and I suffer from the worst bloating at night ( I wake up every nights around 1.30am with horrible cramps, similar to period pains that are actually trapped wind 😑😤, it's agony)

Hey - we're 2WW buddies!

Sorry to hear about your symptoms - other than the giga nips and sometime cramps I'm able to sleep just fine (except when I fall asleep again and have mad anxiety dreams).

I'm also really lucky that I don't have to go back to work til Monday (OTD) which will be interesting! The long haul flight I had to take back from Athens to HK with a change in Abu Dhabi was pretty bloody stressful though.

When's your OTD! Are you peeing on sticks already? I crumbled this morning - negative - of course - but I just couldn't help self!

The tube in this weather must be HELL! Wear ALL the perfume on a scarf and inhale - Neal's Yard do my favourite - it's a mixture of a few oils and called Calming - but anything better than other people!

Blurb from website: This calming blend of relaxing roman chamomile, restful mandarin and grounding bergamot was created with children in mind and helps to gently soothe when they’re over-excited, over-tired or a little grouchy.

(I am all of the above)

Hope you're feeling better today

You're so lucky you can sleep!!

You bet I have tested!!😂 No idea how some women can resist the temptation...

I tested on day 4 to check if I had any hcg left

Then yesterday ( neg) and this morning ( neg again 😑)

Tomorrow is day 8 and this is when HCG levels should start to creep up ! It starts from day 7 for a 5 days transfer

I really hope I'll see another line... The only time I ever saw one was 7 years ago and it ended in a chemical pregnancy

Yes the tube is horrible.its hot, smelly, stressful . I'm beeing pushed all the time since I'm short 😤

Tall twats. I hope you have big bags on your shoulders you can use as weapons.

Good luck with those lovely lines, White Rabbit.

Aww I love this! Someone once said that us going through this process, love our babies the longest as we loved them when we saw them as embryos 😍

I also love wine gums 🙊🤣xxx

SparkleCock profile image
SparkleCock in reply toCLDxxx

Hehe. Leave my wine gums alone. Already warned the husband :)

We do love them the longest - all my friends too - never thought they'd know so much about iVF or be so excited about peeing on strips! Some say - ooh - if she/he ever plays up I'll tell them - do you have any idea what your mum had to go through to get you? How much money she spent and how many heartbreaks she endured? Friends are the best.

Wishing you ALL the luck with your transfer when the time comes.

xx

Ahh how lovely to have such good friends. Mine don’t know too much about IVF but are so excited for me and ask me lots of questions which makes me more excited.

Thank you so much xxx

Your posts always make me laugh so much, you have such humility and positive love. I have no such experience with nipples ! But cramping yes, I got this on my positive during TWW. Ooooh I have everything crossed for you sweetie! And I love your shine, such dedication you’re going to be the best momma!! Xxxx
