Estradiol - side effects & weight gain?

I was wondering if anyone gets any side effects from the estrogen tablets?

I am on double dose plus estrogen patches and I always seem to get palpitations, a blurry head/ headaches & a slight shortness of breath when I take them as well as feeling sickly unless it is just a coincidence? Also I am convinced I put weight on and find it hard to shift.

Has anyone else had any effects from taking it? x

Weight gain yes. Didn’t feel other symptoms

I dont get many side effects so I'm lucky however the weight gain is definitely something I'm struggling with.😕 I'm usually on around 4 to 5 tablets a day and use patches now too. Do you down regulate before taking the estrogen as that used to make me feel awful.xx

Yes, I had quite severe sude effects like what you are describing. I was on a triple dose of patches and experienced sudden waves of nausea, headache, and general feeling unwell when I put them on. Bad headaches and a worsening of anxiety/depression. I spoke w my doctor and we decided to withdraw them and try letrozole instead. Sorry for what you are going through! I am glad I told my doc.
